I have a new version of Echoes I want to try out. I've noticed it seems a bit too difficult to pull the flag from the enemy base still, so I made some changes to try and solve this problem.
Hey this is GT: Splinterbl. I've got a minigame that combines sweet Halo 5 gameplay with breakfast and good cooking. It's a duckhunt-style 1v15 game. Map: The Great Griddle Gametype: Flapjack Frenzy

Both my maps will support 16 players but they are mainly built around arena 4v4 so the respawns might be a little crazy --- Double Post Merged, Feb 6, 2016 --- I would love to hear feedback from tonight's stream on 'convicted' and 'delinquent' http://www.forgehub.com/maps/delinquent.1115/ http://www.forgehub.com/maps/convicted.1512/
Fun night Para! Thanks for inviting me, playing my (small) map, and exposing me to some cool community stuff. My favorites of the night were: Checkpoint 19; Looks great and plays great. ctf_turbine 2554; Faithful remake with cool scripting elements. The Great Griddle; Hilarious, original, and fun! Most of the other maps showed great promise and could really be elevated with a bit a tweaking. I think the theme for tonight ended up being some of the BTB maps just felt too big or had too many layers to them (e.g. huge wide open center space with sides having really tall verticality). A few of the maps tested also seemed like they would have been more solid in a smaller lobby. EDIT: Also Breached was awesome. Forget its named when I made the post.
Watched the VOD - what the heck happened with Battlegoose? It looks like both times you loaded it, the gametype didn't load properly. I think the bug is that base gametypes always seem to take priority. Since you selected Big Team CTF before the first game, and Big Team Strongholds before the second, the game loaded them up as the "base" gametype versions and selectively picked some of the Battlegoose! options but not others. I noticed that there were 2 minute rounds in the CTF version - really ****ing weird stuff. The workaround I believe is to load the basic "Strongholds" gametype, and THEN load "Battlegoose!" directly after that. I have no idea why 343 alphabetized the base gametypes instead of leaving the original ones (Slayer/Strongholds/CTF/Breakout) at the top like before. God damn, customs are so buggy when it comes to gametypes.
Thanks for playing Breached! Glad I got to see how people play it when I'm not there. Ill try and use the feed bad to help out the lighting and make the edges of the lift a little easier to find. Also thanks for playing Highway it was fun watching everyone struggle. If anyone has additional feedback for breached please direct it to the map thread here: http://www.forgehub.com/maps/breached.1565/
I really enjoyed Breached. The game was very competitive and I could see it playing really well for normal sized objective games (4v4,5v5,6v6). That being said it didn't have any problems with 16 people. I can give you my honest feedback on highway if that is the map I am thinking of--the one Para ended when it went into overtime 0-0. Up to you.
