I'm working on certain missions, one that speaks to me is the finally of Halo 2 fighting Tartarus. I was thinking about how the maps size and the rotating parts, and the multiple stories. I imagined a map with flags and weapons gliding in a circular motion around the center platforms which would consist of 3 levels maybe 2 with a "Gravity Hammer" in the midst of the level. If possible I'd like assistance and maybe some insight on what people would enjoy in further maps. I'm professionally working on a multi team breakout which will be coming soon once I start my projects. GT: Ty Rex2033 lets talk level design and functions.
I like the idea and I think it could work. Since the playable part of the level would be small I can see it working well for intense 1v1 or 2v2 matches, or even FFA.
AnonFriction play nice and I guess it could be 1v1/2v2 I;d like to expand it I'm all about chaotic maps with lots of player movement
I made the Gondola from "Regret." I'm hoping I can incorporate it into a BTB map. http://xboxclips.com/ReclaimerX22/screenshots/0b3f6466-e965-4f14-93f2-7a0b9f8c94fe
I've made a couple maps based off of campaign missions from halo 1, 2, and ODST. I like the sense of nostalgia the setting brings to the maps.
Here is my first go at the Gondola Temple as seen in the Halo 2 mission "Regret". It's not the best and I couldn't finish it because my monitor got frozen in the map and I can't go back and edit it but here it is haha.
