And I have a few questions for you guys. Can I just add maps to the map subsection? Or do you have to make a thread for it? And even if it's something aesthetic, is it ok to make a thread for it or are people regularly checking the maps in general? I forged a couple maps and want some feedback on a few. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. Cheers.
I know a good first step is to post it here as a Work In Progress. (WIP). Unless you feel 100% that the map is good, or will only need minor updates, then you go and click "Add a Map" button, which can be found when you click the "Maps" header at the top of the Forgehub page.
To add a map click on maps at the top of your page the click add map. Fill in the required information including type of map (maps are broken up by type of map: aesthetic is a choice). If your maps is a WIP many post threads giving updates before they post their completed map in the maps section. And yes people are regularly checking the map section.
Disclaimer: If you put a map on the map section you can go back and edit/update your post, description, pictures, etc. Don't be afraid to post something there. This is a great way to get early feedback on a map before you complete it. I agree with this^^ completely. I suggest going to Forums>Forge Discussion>What Are You Working On?, that is a great thread for projects that are WIP. http://www.forgehub.com/threads/what-are-you-working-on.146187/page-131#post-1624508
Ok thanks. Well the maps are done so I will go on and add them. For future maps I will make a thread with WIP. Early tips are appreciated. --- Double Post Merged, Feb 1, 2016 --- Ok thank you. Looks simple enough, will add some stuff and see where it goes.
