As might be apparent, this court is based off of High Charity's Council Chambers, where you start the Halo 2 mission, The Gravemind. Other elements of High Charity made their way into the map as well, such as the large hovering pylons flanking the launch hallways. Unfortunately, due to the baked lighting glitch that landed with the last update, the map only lights correctly in Forge and during the intro sequence. After you take control of your Spartan, the entire arena goes dark. Here's hoping that glitch is fixed quickly. Credit to SARIZON for the miniature Dreadnought idea, and to ReclaimerX22 for his versions of the High Charity doors and pylons that I adapted. Also, credit goes to CaptainPunch374 for scripting the small flying ships around the Dreadnought in the intro
It's so pretty <333 I thought it looked fine in customs. I guess just because I haven't seen the proper lights in Forge though?
If it looked like it does is the pictures here, then lights were working fine. If they looked like they do in the second half of this video (http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Darkprince909/video/14313247) then they were acting as dynamic lights, when they should be baked.
Thanks. I just need to know what the spec is and I think I can get it there. Has the court size been determined?
Not yet. I kind of explained it here. You first have to determine which variant it's for. If it's for the Halo 5 standard variant the court will not be square. Courts since Halo 4 have been 8 sided, not rectangular. If it's for the Legendary variant it's a 256x222 rectangle. Also, there should be a wall-hop ledge on each end.
In that case, I may need a hand to make sure everything's right. Since it's already square, I'll probably just make it for the Legendary variant. Maybe after getting that one ironed out we could modify it for Halo 5 settings.
