So who else is ready to get sweaty? So unbelievably stoked for this and really I have no idea why. Just something about it gives me a good feeling about the future of Halo 5. As if they might be moving towards something right in Halo...
For real? I hadn't seen anything stating that, but if that's the case im so switching out the halo 5 "normal" brs for the halo 2 ones
HALO 2 BATTLE RIFLE PARTY LIKE IT'S 2004! This Legendary weapon first made its appearance in Halo 2 and has now returned in Halo 5: Guardians as a Mythic loadout weapon REQ to deploy in Warzone. The Halo 2 Battle Rifle is also unlocked in Forge for those who want to recreate Halo 2 maps and take their nostalgia to the next level. BR55 – Battle Rifle fires 9.5mm rounds from 36-round magazine. Mounted with a 2X optical scope for targeting. Fires in short, automatic bursts of three rounds. Very accurate, relative high rate of fire makes it a useful all-around infantry weapon. https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo-5-guardians/updates/infinitys-armory

343 Industries lead multiplayer designer Kevin Franklin and others has finally left the building. "There are those who said this day will never come, what are they to say now?" - Prophet of Truth
343 is looking for feedback on Arena Maps. Here's the post from Quinn: "Hey everyone, We're planning on updating all of the maps in Arena and are looking for your feedback during the process. Some possible examples of what we're thinking of doing could be: Swapping the rocket launcher and sniper rifle locations on Coliseum. Or moving the Overshield outside on Empire Strongholds. Even stronghold locations could be changed as well. Let us know what ideas and feedback you have on how the maps are currently playing and what you'd like to see changed.I'll try to pop by and reply back to some of the feedback from time to time. Thanks." https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/...ck/4b1c5c3f-3ea4-4fe2-b35f-c3eaa77f75fa/posts
Hi, I remember playing in custom games and in forge with my brother and friends in halo 3/reach and loved the file share, but I'm debating about getting the Halo Master Chief Collection. Does it have all the great features it used to have?
It has a File Share, but it's not as extensive or as easy to use as it was in the games you mentioned. Files can only be downloaded in the game (can't be downloaded online). In order to access a persons fileshare, you either have to have them added as a friend and access their files through the in-game roster, or you have to search for their gamertag in-game. So, it's definitely not as good as it was in previous games, but it's still there and functional.
We've moved on since then. Not a good idea to stick that dagger back in, lol. Read that entire thread & you will see there is change ahead. Some will be satisfied by it, some won't. We can't have a perfect world.
I am not interested in changing the CC. I called for its dissolution last year. Adopting the Far Cry voting approach would completely eliminate cronie-ism and go a long way to eliminate discouragement for the community who want to simply have a set of rules that applies fairly for all. BTW, what change did you refer to? I read each post and didn't see anything that said a change was coming. also, while I am here, let me also say that there used to be a time when forgers would say that game play was king. I disagreed. I felt that a map was just as much art as game play, or it wasn't a map. But now with Forge 5, I can honestly say that if you take all the forgers that can make a great playing map and compare them together, you can now begin to see which forgers have true artistic talent and which ones do not have any at all. Why would anyone be allowed on the CC group if they don't have both a high level of map design talent and a high level of artistic talent? If their job is to find maps of MM quality, those would be my first two and maybe my only two qualifications. If the CC were to engage in more than map quest for 343, then of course other talents would also be required. But those two are clearly the top two by a country mile.
Meh, maybe it was in the shoutbox or something but I don't care to read that entire thread again. Duros stated that there are changes in the future. Whether it's a change in the process of choosing CC's or getting rid of certain CC's. Either way, apparently there's a large number of of CCs that aren't even active at anything anymore yet they are still on the roll. There's a reason that thread is locked, because it can't get anywhere anymore. The points intended to be made were made & some people reacted & some didn't. Some people were satisfied with it & some weren't. We've taken it as far as we can so that's why I said not to stick that dagger back in.
