I accidentally drove a warthog into the water in forge and it will not stop spawning and blowing up. If you go too deep in the water you'll die and the warthog blows up too quick from when it spawns. I need it deleted, any ideas?
Spawn in another warthog of the same kind and go into object properties and scroll to select all of from there delete what you got and see if that does anything for you.
Just tried... It's nearly impossible because I have to select all and delete before the one warthog blows up, which is pretty much instantaneous from when it spawns. The best I can do is put a big block under the water on its spawn point to muffle the explosion but that's about it...
Well that's weird, it should only spawn from where your monitor drops it. In any case, you're not able to select it as soon as it spawns?
Yeah the warthog doesn't spawn where I placed it. I spawned in a warthog and halfway through I started driving it messing around in the water and it blew up. Now it spawns and blows up immediately under the water. Like I said the best thing I've been able to do is place a block over it and under the water so it muffles the sound of the explosion.
Yes haha. The Warthog spawns and immediately explodes. I Was going to see if I could somehow scoop it out with a block, but instead it just spawned and blew up inside of the block. It was much quieter. I'm going to see if I can try something today. But yes it still spawns inside the block, and thats not even its original spawn point.
i would try to do the select all and lift it up as quickly as possible so you can get it out of the kill boundary. If that doesn't work, and if scooping it out isn't working, you might not be able to do anything about it.
if suicufnocs' idea doesnt work then i would suggest scripting a continuous fast rotating scoop/flipper that will attempt to move the warthog out of the water. let the flipper run for awhile as the timing may take sometime to sync with the spawn of the warthog.
Thats a pretty good idea, same with the grav lift idea. I'll play around with it tonight and we'll see how it goes.
