do you have any idea why when i someties force objects into the ground in foundry that are only two walls deep, the level sckecthes out and the item drop out to nithing ness or gets stuck all the way in with only a very tiny amount poking out, then if i save, it still dissapears?!?! Example: I have a corner wall on floor flat like so: /\ braced it on sides, and put a single closed box on each top part of the corner. restarted with a single box held. braces held true, but when the corner wall spawned, the single box I was holding went bye bye.... (U_U) never works for me
Alright. I'm trying to merge a Ramp into the cliff of Avalanche so that it is even with the regular snowy ground. Any helpful suggestions?
This is a great thread. That door trick on Foundry works a treat! However, I am having difficulty with the other method. I followed the instructions to the letter, but when I turn the Run Time Minimum up the box I am holding starts having a fit and carries on while I pause and save, drowning into the floor until it deletes itself. After quiting and re-starting it's not there. This is a three-wall height box btw. What an I doing wrong?
I've been wondering if you can put a respawn point in an open box, and than merge that box into the floor. It'd be interesting to find out.
This was a great thread!! it was alot more presice than some vids ive seen i had a vauge idea but this precied my knowledge. thx a million!
Ok ok, I think I have a solution. Simply go underneath foundry, Save a wall or something directly under where you want your box to go, and make sure it is at the right distance away from the floor of foundry, then when you glitch your box through it should stop underneath at this barrier. confusing???? wait, am I the only one who can get under foundry as a monitor?
This never, NEVER works for me. Just a little while ago I was trying to put something in the ground and after about the 1000th try I hit my xbox very hard and quit. Can somebody please help me? My GT is Gamekilla1. Send me a message.
I don't know hot to do it man exacty but, put a door upside down on top of it+ it'll sink in half way and click on the object/box and let go imediantly and it'll go in.
Helping I'm willing to make some more tutorial videos ( like my tut. about getting under foundry http://www.bungie.net/forums/posts.aspx?h3fileid=38005243). I could make a very detailed one showing many ways to place items into the geomety. However maybe some help from someone with better video skillz, like posting something on youtube. Hit me up xbl gmr tag : Vess rt I'm willing to make whatever videos you'd like, I would just feel more confident with someone with better video capture software since I can only use the halo film file share...
This technique helps me out alot but I cant seem to perfectly merge double boxes. I don't no how to do it with the save and quit message and can do it using the door method, but it will never be straight. I need to do this becuase I am attempting making an MLG Map, Reply as quickly as possible if you can.
Yay Finally I can do what I want. I've been wondering how to do this but no one on B.net would tell me.
putting walls into ground i am having trouble figuring out how to put a wall into the ground facing straight up using the door method? can someone help me out?
