I'm taking this last month before Halo 5 Guardians is released to help Halo players who want to become Forgers. I'd like to get people who are okay, beginners or even great at Forging together for daily lessons. I'm confident in my ability to turn anyone into a somewhat decent Forger. Just message me if you are interested. Also I'll be streaming every other lesson for anyone to view on Twitch.
Do you have your stream times posted? No guarantees I'll be on when you're live, but it'd be easier to find.
I'm not quite sure on my Stream times YET. I need to know what's best for the majority and the best time of day for me to stream and not be interrupted. But I will set a time within the week.
I'm a 5. My practical skills are horrible. I am fully incapable of making a competitively viable map. However, I'm good at the complicated aspects of Forge like scripting and setting up game-type labels.
I believe I could get you from a 5 to a confident 7 or 8 if that's how you feel. You just need someone to help you get the hang of map making. Also knowing everything about gametypes and scripting would be very useful if you were able to Forge your own maps.
Could improve is everyone. Amazing is for others to say. What really helps people improve is harsh feedback while testing. Having good forgers offer suggestions in game on your map can be the best way to learn IMO. Xandrith is really good BTW.
I was joking, but I appreciate the offer. I just find it nice to have a low self image so that insults and critique have no chance of bothering me.
I'm around the 4/5 mark. I'd love to be able to forge well, and I have a lot of fun designing fun maps, but haven't yet had any that have actually been finished or play tested. With Halo 5 I'm definitely looking to become a more active forger! Also - I'm in the UK so I doubt I'll be around for your lessons, unfortunately
