A few months ago, Industries announced that Halo 5: Guardians would have two special editions – the Limited Edition and the Limited Collector’s Edition – both of which would release alongside Halo 5: Guardians later this year.

At the time, we were only offered both placeholder box art but today, Gamestop Italy updated their website to show what appears to be images of both special editions.

Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition – $99.99


Back when Industries originally announced both special editions, we were offered this brief description of the limited edition:

Everything in the Standard Edition plus new digital content to enhance Spartan combat and exclusive items wrapped in a uniquely designed steel book.

It is great to see a sneak peek at the Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition steel book and I’m excited to see what other content will be packaged once they get announced at a later date.

Halo 5: Guardians Limited Collector’s Edition – $249.99


Similar to the Limited Edition, we were only offered a brief description of the Halo 5: Guardians Limited Collector’s Edition when it was originally announced.

Everything in the Limited Edition as well as additional content such as a commemorative numbered statue designed by Industries. More details on the design to be shared at a later date.

We still have no official word on when the contents of both the Limited Edition and Limited Collector’s Edition will be announced but considering Gamestop has these images publicly available on their website, it shouldn’t be too long before we find out.
