Start a custom game on your map (not forge), then end after a few seconds. After this, find the theater clip of this custom game (It will not be the most recent clip, you have to look for the time and date) Pause the theater clip, toggle the menu off and position the camera in any places you want to take a screenshot of a few seconds for each position/picture. After you have positioned the camera in all of the places you want to take a screenshot, then record that clip to your game DVR. Finally, on to your computer. After you have recorded the clip, go to Xboxclips.com, and type in your GT (It might take a long time after recording the clip to show up on that website) Then, find your clip. Once you have the clip, make the video full screen and watch until the first screenshot position comes up and pause. Once you have it paused, you can then press the Print screen button on your keyboard. It might say Prt Scr. Lastly, open paint. You can then just press the big paste button at the top left of paint and it will paste the last position you have pressed print screen on. You can then save the picture and proceed to paste it to 4chub! (smply fast forward to the next position, pause, make fullscreen, and repeat the prt scr/paste procedure to save the next screenshot in the video)
What is funny is I haven't used it yet. I always forget to take the screenshots when I am making my video's.
Yeah, screenshots just became possible with last months XB1 update. Makes it about 10 times easier than it was before. Just double tap the Xbox button on your controller, then press Y to take a screenshot. You can do this at any time. In theater is probably the best way, because you can remove all of the menu's, and you won't see all of the extra stuff that shows up in forge. When in theater, pause the film and press Y twice to go into free roaming mode. Make sure all of the menu's are off the screen, then take your screenshots.
Why? Because you don't have pictures of it? Having good pictures of a good map will definitely help you find testers. Having pictures of a bad map probably won't prove too helpful in getting testers, but at least then someone may be willing to offer feedback even if they won't help test. So yeah, pictures are helpful if you're looking to improve your map or improve your forging overall. You can also do video's pretty easily. Just record a walkthrough using the GameDVR, search your GT at xboxclips.com, then leave a link to the video in a post. With how difficult it is to download maps in this game, people need an incentive to put in that effort.
