Voidwalk has a great simple layout for fast paced matches. The aesthetics keep it clean and original and really compliment the design. Good work on this Xandrith
i agree with others that the simplicity on this map is great, but i'm concerned about how predictable your spawns are. there's nothing necessary wrong with fast paced maps; however, in a tournament setting, i feel as though the match should come down to player decision making moreso than their shot and luck with spawns. on a map like this, a lot of those decisions are already made for the player. it's for that reason i think i'd prefer Verse to this. Voidwalk would be a very fun warmup map - it's like super octagon and the layout doesn't get in the way of engagements. i'd also consider changing the teleporter. the EMP device makes a really loud noise and IMO a map should be as quiet as possible - especially a 1v1 map where you need to hear the other player (unless you don't want players to hear people, which would make sense given how small the map is). i really like your forging style though so i'm curious if you have a third one on the way.
I completely understand your concerns, but the spawns have not been as predictable as I thought they were going to be after over 25 games. The EMP, as you pointed out, helps with gameplay as you can't predict movement based on sound. It also looks badass, lol.
