while i dont understand the teleporters importance, i am insanely inlove with the style and look of the map. it inspires me on many levels to be more asthetic with alot of my maps. keep up with this style and you'll be one of my favorite forgers. 4.8/5
If your team is stuck in the base because the other team is pushing a heavy Offense, you can get out by the teles to break up their push.
This map looks fantastic, instant DL if I didn't have the RRoD. I really like the aesthetic touch you put on this map with the "core-like" structure you have in the middle. I'm not so sure about the whole needler aspect. But it looks fun anyways.
Just wondering, what software you use for the panoramics? (I've tried on quite afew things but i never get a clean finish) It's a good mix of competitive and aesthetic and i think you must have a needler obssesion looking at those pics >.< 10/10 EDIT: Looking back i read about the "rave" gametype anbd realised why there was so many needlers. I think i might make a map which can use rave gametypes because it looks really fun.
wow looks really cool u payed great attention to detail nd it has some new good features, this is a must download
This is a really good looking map, very well interlocked. I especially like the middle energy thing. I am going to try it out with my friend this evening. On another subject. I understand that you may lot like short posts, but I dont always have a story to write for every map. I usually dont comment extensively on a map unless its really impressive. The people who make the maps appreciate my comment and dl.
I walked through this one earlier. Great map !!! Loved the way it felt like i was on a completely different map. It kind of felt like a "Campaign Mission" from the single player or something...lol. Great interlocking and layout...8.5/10
Thank you for your comment. I am glad to see that some people do actually read the description. I am sorry it isn't longer or has a story line attached. When I publish maps on ForgeHub, I like to let my pictures do most of the talking (pictures are worth 1000 words). Though adding stories sometimes does contribute a little more to the atmosphere during gameplay, it's just not my cup of tea. To me, stories enforce the forger's own sense of imagination onto the player, sometimes spoiling the fun factor. I like to keep the possibilities open, I let them think whatever possible about the map. One person may think its part of a campaign mission, another may think it's a factory of sorts. Sometimes it's just impossible to describe what the map truly is, and just to keep it a mystery. =] Again, thank you for the positive comment. I use Photoshop CS3. I am not aware of any other programs you can use for panoramas at the moment. If you would like, you can provide me with some photographs, screenshots, etc... and I will happily make panoramas for you.
Wow. This looks amazing. I suddenly have an immense amount of inspiration and ideas pouring out of my head, just from looking at your screenshots. Pristine interlocking, and looks like great gameplay! I will dl and review once my RRoD is fixed. Great map! I hope to see more from you in the future!
This is amazing. That is the best interlocking I have ever seen. You are one of the best Forgers here on ForgeHub and I hope this get on the front page. This is amazing. Congrats on a job well done!
ok i have a great idea for one sided assault! what u do is u plant the bomb inside the nuclear reactor thing and then u have fusion coils in their laying on the bottom and then BOOM! But Great map i love the sloped walking area where the custom power up is! but i especially like the nuclear reactor thing that gives it that mystery feel and aesthetic look! Amazing map! 10/10 Good Luck on any future maps Peace
Thank you for your suggestion. Although it would be pretty neat to plant the bomb there, that would require me to lengthen the gap between the sets of wall corners that make up the structure. This would destroy the overall feel in other game types like flag and vip. Still, I am grateful for your positive remark toward my map. (Im giving you a good rep) cheers
when i played it a few days ago wit friends in 2 on 2 and 3 on 3 we were all lovining how fast paced it was and admiring the cleaness of the map...(we thot it was fast paced at least, everybody ended wit over 100 kills on rave flag cuz we were to eavenly matched after 30min of playin)
First things first, well done, sir. Gorgeous map. I haven't had the pleasure of playing it yet, but hopefully I will get the opportunity to in the near future. I love your use of the shield doors, as well as the window panels hanging a but from the ceiling. They all add to the already great atmosphere of the map. My only reservations I have were the extremely high number of plasma grenades. Why so many? After i noticed it, I thought at first that perhaps I missed something in the description of the map, however when I cam back to check, I had to ask. Any particular reason? Surely even with 10s respawn times that many aren't necessary. I can't remember the specific number, but it was definitely over 15. Seemed a bit over the top, but perhaps that was your intention. Anyway, like I said, you've done a great job with this map, and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing your future work.
Thank you for your comment. The reason there are so many plasma grenades, is its goes with the game type(s)
In addition to what you said, it's so there's always a healthy supply, seeing as a major portion of of the "rave" experience is due to many bright colored lights. If anyone wants some sweet trance/house/DnB mixes you can get some here.
