New flood infected Spartan character models for Halo 2 Anniversary! Here's a video from Ducain23 highlighting the new visuals:
Just got word that there isn't going to be a Hammer available in H2 Anniversary. Grifball hub and their entire community will need to stick to H3 or H4 for their tournaments. I know that H3 had the most competitive and reliable mechanics for the grifball gametype so I'm assuming that will be the most popular.
Haha...this is the funniest gif! Hopefully 343 will address all of our concerns tomorrow so we don't have to "jump" to conclusions
great gif. but jumping to conclusions is fun because of the drama, never any fun if there isn't any drama.
I think this map is a gametype specific dynamically changing environment. Objects and terrain dynamically shift and elevate during gameplay to provide cover or new objective locations. This theory would fit in line with their virtual battlefield in the "War Games". The environment could even be procedurally generated; this would explain why the map is overly simplistic. I hope this is also modifiable via forge mode. There is a resemblance to forge pieces in the photos above.
That new map might just have beta textures. I wouldn't want to be an artist doing up a map all pretty for a beta, only to hear that the players want a major change to the design.
bad textures or maybe a super forge? one can dream... to be realistic the aesthetics is probably to go a long with the whole war-games holographic simulation crap introduced in H4 to try and make multiplayer cannon.
Pretty sure that was in the stream @SilentA98 or in one of those associated youtube videos people are throwing out now edit: looking around, not sure where it was announced but look at this for now (some of the pieces look very much like the current ones - ex: landing pad)
