    What We Know:
    - Zoom and Precision Control are returning
    - We're getting new Natural and Terrain pieces
    - There will be 3 'Skybox-Only' maps
    - The remastered multiplayer maps will include a complete structure palette
    - There will be new Gadgets available
    - The Budget system is gone, and replaced with a Straight Object Count (650 piece limit)
    - There will be a Performance Meter that will show how good or bad the framerate is
    - Tool settings (rotation snap and magnets) will be stored between sessions

    What We Don't Know:
    - What does 'Simple Scripting Objects' mean?
    - Does 'Mirrored Versions of Objects' mean that we only have to forge half of a symmetrical map?
    - Will there be multiple structure palettes?
    - Dan Ayoub has difficulty pronouncing the word 'about' :p

All told, there are more questions than answers (even though my 'What We Know' list was longer, lol)
Surely you all have speculations. What are they?

I'm really curious about the 'Simple Scripting Objects'. Being able to turn an object into a switch that triggers another objects to do something would be pretty cool (like the teleporter on Relic, or the doors on Zanzibar and High Ground). It also seems like some of the new gadgets are tied into the 'Simple Scripting Objects'. In fact, it makes sense that the new gadgets could be switches. I'm eager to see all of this revealed (hopefully before launch).

By far my biggest curiosity right now is what do the pieces look like? They say they're cleaner and smoother, but the pieces shown in the video don't look clean to me. I'm hoping that there will be multiple palettes. This seems likely, as there wouldn't otherwise be any reason to have 3 distinct Skybox's. :) I'm also hoping that we can use pieces from more than one palette on a map. This seems unlikely, because if we could there would be no reason to have 3 distinct Skybox's. :(

From the looks of the Zanzibar remake video "switches" will be in forge and are confirmed. We know that they operate with the dynamic elements on maps, however if we could use "simple scripting" to program other devices or actions that would be really interesting. I'm predicting they will have multiple scripting options for these switch objects. I'm also hoping that Zanzibar is one of the skybox maps because it is the only one that has water on it...

simple scripting i'm expecting to be how the dynamic events are done. you can set events triggers on an item to activate some kind of action. hopefully this will be somewhat flexible on not predefined.

    example:
    event - instance destroyed
    action - roof collapses

Regarding the Skybox's, they've specified them as "Skybox-Only" maps, which leads me to believe they are completely separate from the multiplayer maps, and have no terrain on them whatsoever.

Pretty sure its gonna work just like it did in the H4 mods.

To what extent is yet to be seen but pretty sure it wont be as advanced.
