Well they've got my eye color and hair entirely wrong, and I would never wear jeans with tennis shoes unless I'm playing paintball, and collared shirts are tucked into jeans...
Building a robot arm in school, trying to find the limitations/unreachable areas, which is surprisingly hard if I do not know the actual lengths of the pieces I'm going to be using for structure, even if I am set on the angles I want to use. After working on it for the past couple days, with multiple pages of practically unreadable notes, I decided to forget the idea and just use a more conventional design, one that you would see in a car factory.
Why do you not know the actual (or even measured) lengths? Or why can't they be measured and then put in different terms?
Probably three measures of Gordon's Gin, one measure of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet (or Cocchi Americano)... shaken up and served with a large then slice of lemon.
They can be measured, however I wanted to make measurements that would allow the arm to reach a previously unusable cone of space under the first joint, since it was basically a "shoulder" vertically above the 360 rotating base. Instead now I have the arm rotation raised and parallel with the "shoulder" with an "elbow" perpendicular to the shoulder, eliminating the problem of having a cone under the shoulder. Theres still unusable space, but alot less with this design, I may have to add a counter weight system though.
