Ok, brutally honest time folks. oVR obviously doesn't like the straight up insults (as believe it or not, insulting members has been a rule on this site since before Shock was admin). So you keep doing them, you keep getting warned/infracted, you get angry, you try to voice your anger by insulting oVR some more, the cycle continues until you get banned because oVR stopped putting up with the cycle. I don't personally agree with this "toxic behavior" rule, but then again, I understand its premise in making the forum a more welcoming place, which right now you guys aren't helping with just as much as oVR's attitude toward you guys. Can't we all just compromise and talk about ****in music again or Ira Glass. The best solution if you feel you can't just talk about other stuff is leave. I say this not because I want you guys to leave. You've all been contributing members of this forum and are few of the remaining "active" members left who return on a daily basis, so don't misunderstand what I'm saying here. I'm saying that if you feel your only option is to curse and try to attack the system rather than deal with it, work within it, and move on without taking every warning you receive as if we slapped a ball and chain on you, then the entire community, including yourself, is better served with you not being here. Returning only if you can calm down and act like a reasonable, mature person. I say all of this fully knowing every possible negative connotation that comes with essentially telling members to "leave" will be drawn from that despite my positive intention to actually help you guys, and I hope you all know I really am on every member's side here and have been fighting, tooth and nail, to get more interaction and collaboration between oVR instead of pure obedience and "this is how it is" attitude. But again, and this is worth extremely stressing, the site was not doing well. We are still in the process of making significant changes to the site (as is evident from the front page redesign and forum restructuring, and eventual change to xenForo instea of vBulletin) so please just wait until the dust settles and things go back to just playing halo and enjoying other's, with similar interests, company.

Since oVR bought the forum a few months back. Does that change any of the context of what I said? And I will bring IRA GLASS back if I want to. And as far as the posts you just did, you have to see the extremely immature nature of that right? It's essentially the bullying principle. "oVR doesn't like it when I say mean things to him...so I'll keep doing it because it makes me feel better". Presumably you're older than 11, so you can deal with things with more decorum than that right? Plus just insulting people is like the lowest form of intelligence. It's not creative, it doesn't benefit the community for you to do so. If you have valid complaints, say them in a reasonable, logical manner, and we can discuss it as such. If you're going to start going all caps, "da guys a f*kin prick, George, now let me pet dose rabbits, you said I can pet the wabbits, George" than you aren't going to be taken seriously at all.
The site is actually doing worse since oVR took over actually. Look at the statistics. That doesn't justify being a self-righteous ****. I have never really attacked anybody until all of the bad decisions snowball'd into what is now the remnants of Forge Hub. The only reason we are expressing ourselves in this way is because we actually tried to be nice. We tried to welcome him into our community as our leader, but he ultimately failed. We care (or rather cared) a lot about Forge Hub and when we say we don't like something and are ignored, we don't take it lightly. You are naive if you think we're "insulting" him for one mistake -- it's a series of mistakes, as I'm sure you and most of his henchmen aware of. This is an ongoing problem and SHOULD be addressed. I refuse for it to just be swept under the table like nothing happened. Most of the people in here have been here since the beginning, or at least near the beginning. It's something very personal to us all IMO. Again, this is worth extremely stressing, the site is doing worse. If this has to be approved by a moderator still, **** you dumb ****s.

You don't understand a single thing about the old community, do you? Ira Glass isn't a little joke. Ira Glass, hand in hand with Wheat, is an infection that is spread by Grif. Grif, who, and it's quite scary, at one point was effectively an admin when the site was in its prime. So oVR thinks this thread is full of bullies. Well maybe he should have done his community research in a more time based depth and actually paid attention to the community sections instead of just the Halo ones. Valid complaints have been voiced for six years, and it used to be that they were answered. If you think the all caps spurt was anything but me yelling at Grif like I have done for over a decade, then you seriously do not understand the old community.

And again, broadening our gaze past the tunnel vision you seem to have right now, the forum is being restructured, the front page changed, and we still have yet to have any event to grab attention on the outside because of the internal work that is being done. So it's not a stretch of the imagination to expect lower visitors to the site when there is less to do on it. And no, bullsh*t on the "trying to be nice" thing. If by "trying to be nice" was refraining from outright insulting using expletives to instead say the same general message, then yeah, there was that. You guys have been chompin at the bit since the site was bought, and as I've said numerous times, I understand that attitude. But no, you haven't been putting any effort into resolving the situation peacefully, instead resorting to just lazy, immature, tactics that of course result in warnings/infractions, because again, the rules haven't changed for the most part. Insulting members is still insulting members and is still against the rules. oVR didn't make that rule. You think the rules don't apply because you insult staff members that you feel should just "take it"? And no, I don't think you're insulting him for one mistake. But again, whether it is one, or 500, the rules don't stop existing just because you are annoyed by the person in charge. If something happens that you take offense of, PM one or all of us. If you are ignored by one staff you can't be ignored by all of us as we aren't 1 mind who wishes to sh*t on you every chance we get. So, for every reasonable, mature post that promotes actual thought and discussion among our staff and the community, we will take seriously, for every fart from a troll's ass post we get we'll ignore it and most likely warn/infract/hide the post if it serves no purpose other than you felt particularly pissed in that moment. I'm not even sure why I'm trying to appeal to human decency here. I can already feel the asterisk filled posts being typed by people who have no intention of saying anything meaningful. I can't keep agreeing with your sentiment yet appealing for rational discussion and keep not getting it like we're all 5 years old without the capacity for higher thinking.
