The sword has got me out of so many ****ty situations on this map. My favorite gametype for this map is still slayer but I extraction is just intense. Now to go lurk some more.
Go put some meta on Obelisk Ark has been moved from the preview section to the maps section, but the map will continue to be refined for weeks to come. After analyzing all the gameplays and feedback from Ghostayame's and Pistola's stream last night, several changes have been made. I have altered some of the rock connections in the middle of the map to increase flow, proceeded with a diverse new weapon layout, and placed a fusion coil top satellite tower to flush out players camping. Spawning and gametype specifics such as extraction site and hill locations will continue to be refined for weeks. I will update once everything is ready.
The rock platform in front of the Spartan on the left has been expanded to two rocks. The second rock, which is more towards the Spartan, blocks the LoS from top green to front boat and provides more cover to players moving through the area on that side of the bridge. To the left of that rock platform, there is a new route that shoots down to bottom mid similar to the rock ramp on the other side of mid that leads up to blue/gold. I also added one more pillar to the bridge and made those adjustments to satellite tower, although those are more minor adjustments.
Thanks for the gameplay oVR. That Ark build is actually 1-2 weeks dated prior to the build that I sent Ghost. The new version has trees, quite a bit of altered rock geometry, an entire new spawning and weapon layout, and a few other tower geometry adjustments like jump-ups. Hopefully I'll have an extraction game from Revolution captured soon.
So Fated. I'm making this map. It has boats on it. Sue me. srs: hop into a lobby with me sometime, I'm trying to get several styles of boat on the map.
So boats are the new trucks? Needs more trucks imo, trucks > boats. (yeah, I was around during that time. lurking. )
Challenge accepted under one condition...you can't call the map Armada. That name is mine! Also, some guy on BE just posted a map with this picture: THE META IS SPREADING
map looks too large I have no idea what to call the boat map yet, probably won't do Armada as it rather quaint right now. It is essentially one building on an island with boats around it.
I quoted this for no real reason. But at least the meta is spreading! I can't wait to release Koffing
N00bs are more than welcome in the Meta family. There's only one rule: Place at least one "M" on your upcoming maps. There isn't a world without meta on forge maps.
