Ok so it's been a while but I finally freed up some time and watched through Devil Survivor 2. I quite liked it as it is very similar to Persona as are all SMT series but I still didn't like it as much as Persona(most likely because I have never played the game to back up the show). I highly enjoyed it though and I wish it was more than just 13 episodes. I felt like a large majority of the characters weren't developed very well so when there were deaths they didn't seem to have much of an impact(although the game probably fills in where the show lacks, after all you can only fit so much into a 13 episode series). Still, I liked it much more than I expected and I'd love to see more from the Devil Survivor series. Still holding out for P5 though :frustrated: but it seems Atlus may be in some financial trouble due to their parent company but I'm hoping that doesn't affect the production of any future games.
Eh, deaths honestly arent very moving in the games either, a little bit more than the anime considering you take a little more time with them ingame, but nothing very teary when they died, at least in my opinion. I do think the first devil survivor game would have made a better anime though, I actually liked characters from it. EDIT: Finished Fuse teppou musume no torinmonochou. Pretty good. Not super great, but good. EDIT 2: Watched Mirai Nikki Redial, is basically a appended ending for the series, adds some closure and has a happier end than the original one. Not a whole lot of extra plot though. Was good.
Might have to watch that. I'm also watching Air Gear and Black Lagoon on the way to work on the train, didn't expect Air Gear to have bare breasts in it which was fun on the train lol.
Air gear is great, other than the ending, they hadto cut the show short due to budget problems so it isnt an actual ending.
Just ffinished welcome to the NHK as was suggested to me. Spoiler although some parts were comedic, other parts were very touching not to the scale of other animes i have seen such as clannad, Sword Art Online, or Toradora...etc but it got the job done. The soundtrack was okay but it is not anything that will stick with me. While some characters were well developed (Sato and Misaki) i felt others were not as well developed as i believe the producers wanted them to be(literature club girl, i forgot her name.) while i am on the topic of character development i will talk about Misaki. Most of her development was towards the end. We spent much of the series knowing little more then her name and somewhere halfway through it is obvious she was abused. Despite that, She was my favorite character. I don't know why i liked her character, but i did. Overall i thought it was very enjoyable and am glad that i (finally) watched it.
Just watched the movie I mentioned a page ago. very heartwarming and interesting story, characters were interesting, and the art was refreshing. The only thing holding it back is its lack of development as with most movies. both the romance and overall story progression were far too fast / several scenes were unexplained, and several others made no sense because of that. still, I think it's a good movie that deserves more attention than it recieves. give it a whirl if you guys can. So guys, Nekomonogatari is started and you know what? The instant I saw Tsubasa without glasses and a new haircut I liked her. I guess I REALLY dont like girls with glasses in anime. For those that don't know: (doubt there are many that dont) Bakemonogatari - centered on Araragi and Senjougahara Nisemonogatari - centered on Tsukihi and Karen Nekomonogatari - centered on Tsubasa Kizumonogatari - centered on Araragi and Shinobu (prequel to everything else) Additionally, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya is also started, I havent watched yet, but my understanding is that it is an alternate world that Illya is a magical girl.
I just finished Higurashi ni (higurashi: When they cry) it was a confusing first season but enjoyable nonetheless. The reason i even watched it is because i listened to a soundtrack for it and it was not even in it(at least not the first season)
nonono, you're thinking the OVA nekomonogatari, the sorta prequel for Tsubasa. This is an actual series contnuing from where nisemonogatari leaves off, that also is about Tsubasa. Specifically, you are thinking the adaptation of Nekomonogatari (kuro), which takes place after Kizu, but before Bake. That arc is Tsubasa Family. This one is based Nekomonogatari (shiro), which is the arc Tsubasa Tiger. And while both arecat related, they arent the same cat or problem. And yes, Kizumonogatari is the prequel movie about Shinobu and Araragi's first encounter. (can't wait for subs of this)

Oh, if the crying bothers you, trust me when I say it is a constant thing. Even as far as the manga is, there are still people flipping **** and crying in the middle of battle. Edit: unrelated to attack on titan, but I started reading the monogatari books.
Highschool DxD, OreImo, Railgun, Gurren Lagann and more... Railgun first though, if you want Index too.
Oh, sky; if you are watching Air Gear I suggest to change over to the manga instead, it actually goes on and doesnt stop abruptly whereas the anime does.
So, I started reading some stuffs; Liar Game - MyAnimeList.net Psyren - MyAnimeList.net Old Boy - MyAnimeList.net Of these, Psyren is a shounen based on psychic powers and stuff. Old boy is a sort of mystery based in a normal world. And, Liar Game (my favorite of the three) is a sort of game style manga based on an honest girl trying to win a dangerous game of deception. Oh, I also started reading the Saga graphic novels, and the novel for Kizumonogatari. Lots of reading. Lots.
