Good luck finding a decent alternative, railcraft has a monopoly over the minecart mods, and along with Steve's carts there's really no point in any other mods.

 

I wish I was good enough to just pull bits and pieces and just change the recipes to reflect a more favorable materials list. Like if there was a way to pull from better than wolves and use string in lieu of the hemp bullshit.

 

It's not like you have to hunt materials, railcraft doesn't actually add generation, you just create a few materials from existing materials.

 

HE's right, the only thing that makes railcraft a pain in the bum is the amount of iron you'll need to build all the super cool stuff. But the automation it provides is cool, pipes are ****ing boring when you can fling your good around in minecarts.

Dinnerbone said that the new launcher will have every version of MC on it, so you can play the most up-to-date one or down to beta.

 

So, I'm sure everyone rememebers me working on the Pro Bending Arena. I finished that in 1.4.x, and now in 1.5/6 I've decided to take on the challenge of re-making L4D as close to as the core as i can, and so far I'm ~75 of the way

Here's the Core of all the basic functions such as teams,spawning, health, speeds, safehouse location, end game (Such as all survivors dieing, or players reaching the safehouse), and healthpack system. Crammed into a "tiny" 8hx8lx7w

Oh, so you guys enjoy redstone?

This is a flower/seed farm. Very intelligent, it has a water buffer so it doesn't waste any seeds, stops if it runs out of bone meal, and can work 24/7 without maintenance if you give it enough bone meal. It also shuts off at night, and starts back up again during the day. Has enough storage for months on end, and has a master on/off switch.

 

Its hard to explain...Heh. If i could record me playing it i would be able to show you, but I have no captureing system for my PC screen
