What's better than Forza, it's stolen GTs crown as the Console racer king...

any of the older Need For Speed games, Burnout, or PGR even. Not to mention that Drive Club and The Crew look to be strong contenders once the consoles are out.

Im not saying your choice in game is bad, Im just saying that the choice to go with X1 and forza is a little silly considering the other options you have.

those are all arcade style racing games (except maybe drive club, i dont know much about it), forza is a racing sim. lots of people prefer racing games where the car actually behaves like a car.

really, because last time I drove 90 mph the car didnt spin out of control and run onto the grass. In real life. Forza and GT both have a high center of gravity on the cars along with TERRIBLE traction control.

They artificially increase the difficulty of the driving by doing this. If it was legitimately the same as real life, nobody would play it because the races would be too easy to stay on the track and perform prefect laps.

the roads you drive on were designed so that you dont spin out or lose control of your vehicle. the radius of turns on highways and higher speed limit roads are huge compared to competitive racetracks.
its not terribly hard to stay on the track in forza, you just cant floor it the entire time. do you really think professional racers just attempt to drive as fast as the car can possibly go the entire race?
forza isnt intentionally made harder to drive, bfs and burnout are just made incredibly easier to drive

Mariokart 7 is pretty good considering it is on a handheld.

Yeah Mario Kart 7 is sweet. Double Dash is the best imo.

Also, Top Gear hosts were confirmed to be contributing to Forza 5 in some form.

I just read that here. I'm almost as excited for Forza 5 as I am for Project Spark.

Funny story, I've actually driven at over 90mph in an Aston Martin DB9 and nope, that didn't spin out. None of the cars ever feel like they have a high center of gravity, some of the Prototype cars almost feel too glued to the road sometimes compared to what they should be and I even play without traction control and stability management. You have to manage your throttle input and steering, I have some crazy powerful cars with so much torque they spin their wheels up through third and fourth gears but I've learned to control that. Never really found it too easy either, I'm always struggling against the car if I make a mistake and the only non-realistic side of the game is the damage model.

I know this is the dumbest way to justify my argument ever, but I've spent a good 300+ hours on Forza 4, I know how it works. :p

I own PGR4 and Burnout Paradise and they're much more arcade-style and easier to drive than Forza but still great games. Too be honest, I'd love a Paradise sequel more than anything in the world right now. I played the **** out of that game a few summers ago, got a 101% elite licence, 101% bikers licence and got all the collectibles. Still need the Party + Cops and Robbers DLC to finish all the Achievements. I miss that game so much.

Hopefully a new Horizon would be sweet, bigger, less linear map and more cars next time too. Keep tuning in as well, I love being able to drift my GT-R but it's hard as FK in Horizon.

I really never played Forza honestly, but I liked need for speed underground. I thought it was pretty fun though it may not be the most accurate or realistic racer. It was a fun game though and the only racer I actually purchased on the 360.

So apparently there will be free xbox 360 games released every month until the xbox one comes out? Assassin's Creed 2 and Halo 3 in July, I believe. Seeing as I bought the first Assassin's Creed and never played the second this will be a pretty sweet feature. And more Halo 3 players is always a plus, woot to the woot!

/a reason to keep the 360 and not buy a xbone
