Well, press start's in about an hour... call your shot. What do you think the next xbox will be? I will get the obvious ones out of the way first... It's called Xbox Infinity, not Xbox 720. (I was wrong, my name is mud.) There will be a premier for Call of Duty: Ghosts (hoping for gameplay footage but not likely) There will be Next Gen Kinect Technology shown. Some kind of "TVio like" DVR capibilities. ---- Thats all I got, what do you think will happen? call your shot before the press starts!
I hope for some more Destiny news. Although I'm interested in the Campaign of Call of Duty: Ghosts.. Only the campaign though. Ill just wait and see.
I've just realised, Halo 4 will be well and truly dead when this comes out. Unless somehow they release Halo 5 as a launch title...
My thoughts: WEAK Why put so much focus on TV? Booo Everyone knows that Network TV and Cable are a dead medium, have they never heard of youtube and netflix? Get with the program Microsoft, TV is the Newpaper of 2013. As good as dead. More games, less hype plz. (CoD looked good but I can buy a PS4 for that? WTF)
A DVR for gameplay? **** yes. The Xbox One looks ****ing fantastic. I'd never been this excited. What.
Pissed myself laughing at cod. "new, unique story" - We copied the core story of ODST/Reach "Physics" - In use in games such as HL1, a game that came out before the year 2000 "Looking out around corners" - Not unique" "

We want you to feel connected to characters" - you dun got a dog. you're guys from the remnants of the US marines to fight the turrists who blew up murica

No sale whatsoever. I also couldn't help but notice that the first guy made gestures with his hands that were very similar to what he wanted the xbox to do before, yet the xbox did nothing. It's almost as if they lied about the gesture recognition! Like the controller though!
Actually CoD looks to have taken a lot of gameplay features from Battlefield, which I find kind of funny.
You will be able to use Netflix and YouTube still, but that is already on the 360. Why show that? They showed something new. TV isn't dead, it is old, but not dead. Plus, there is still E3, all the games will be showed off there. This was primarily about the One, not the games.
Actually, I havent updated mine since the white case 360 first came out, so I am stoked that this this works and looks this good. Not sure how it all works but the blueray is an improvement to be certain.
I don't see any huge differences between One and 360.. besides changing tabs fast and tv stuff. Not worth paying $500 so far, we'll see.
Oh I didn't notice they added blu-ray. That's great. Yeah I have the old dog too, going to be a refreshing upgrade. I'll have a **** ton of money from working over summer too.
Seriously? Flawless multitasking between TV, movies, games, social media and browsing is a pretty big step up to me.
I'm not trying to defend Call of Duty in any way because it's not really my thing but it seems like you're jumping to conclusions... But I guess that's the natural step when you like Halo more. They're not ripping the story from ODST or Reach... It's still the dystopian grey future that we have all become familiar with but Halo is just as guilty in that regard. It's made for a mass audience, just like Halo, so it won't be super deep. The engine physics were impressive but they said it was just that, " in-engine footage." You may have not have caught it, but they didn't say "in-game." I was pretty disappointed in this since it basically means it was false advertising in terms of graphics, unless the make some kind optimizations in time, which they probably won't. Every new engine tries to flaunt their poly count, optimizations and particles; you saw it in the Reach ViDoc as well. That brings me to your last point of looking around corners. While it's not particularly unique, it wasn't very common on consoles so it's refreshing and makes it more immersive in my opinion. Also, the characters aren't just US Marines, they're special operations teams from around the country which includes MARSOC, Seals, AFSOC, Green Berets(?) and maybe even contracted groups like Blackwater/Academi/etc which could be interesting. Does this change anything? Nah, just wanted to mention it.
