It makes sense that this is his last regeneration since the interior of the TARDIS that was his tomb was the same as his current one. Wonder if there will be some crazy plot twists that get him out of this one or if we are really upon the last season of the Doctor coming this fall.

If they've undid the death of the Doctor before, they can do it again.

Actually, the Doctor has 13 regenerations as opposed to the normal 12 that most Time Lords have. Additionally, the penultimate generation of the Doctor know as the Valeyard is supposed to come between the 12th and 13th regenerations, which could technically mean the Doctor has 14 regenerations. I would absolutely love it if we got a full season of "evil" Doctor as the Valeyard. :D

Now an evil Dr who is something I'd watch. Is it bad I prefer Torchwood to Dr who?

Yes. JK but I never really cared for TW that much. I prefer the wackiness of Dr. Who. To each their own though.

I still think a spin off with David Tennant Doctor's daughter as main character would have been better than Torchwood.

Screw spinoffs. Torchwood and the Sarah Jane Smith Adventures never interested me... The characters are too boring. The Doctor though, he's amazing. The depth, the mystery, and that darkness that lurks within... "There's a sliver of ice in his heart", so spot on, but I think there's more than just a sliver. Every episode where the Doctor shows his darkside gets me all riled up. I loved the ending to Family of Blood when he gives all four family members "immortality" of some sort of another. Those episodes where his rage comes boiling to the surface... Absolutely magnificint!

Sarah Jane is for Kids, Torchwood is aimed at a maturer audience. I also don't like the alien episodes of Dr. Who, I prefer the episodes that deal with the mind and time and stuff.
