Damn....I really want to pursue Astrophysics, but I also want to stay near home...Boston University looks perfect for me, except with my gpa being a 2.3 on a 4.3 scale. (Dont ask me why it's a 4.3, thats just what is on my transcript.) They tend to accept >3.5 lol. I was such a ****up freshmen and sophomore year, ironic how those years I never even logged on 4chub.
There's no shame in going to another college for a year or two and then eventually transferring to an institution that you wanted to go to. It's also typically a cheaper route, assuming you don't have any grants or scholarships. Just make sure you do great in College. I made a lot of mistakes in High School and initially sucked at Algebra but found out that I loved math in my Junior and Senior year. Before that, I had no idea what I wanted to "be" when I grew up and was thrown into some shitty art academy program where I had to complete a bunch of art courses. I typically hate art, so I didn't exactly do great and that's why my GPA was around ~3.0 when I had graduated. Pretty lame. That's the same school who threw me into Chemistry despite struggling in Algebra 1 just because I took Biology Honors my first year. On top of that, they taught Chemistry before I took Algebra 2, even though it was a pre-requisite. Oh well, it means nothing to me anymore.
It's not only that however. Constant changes to a system that wasn't broken broke it, and those who had influence over the site grew stale or had left. Parties with TDF and Shock and Commander Matt, Drawing Man, Dragoncoals, reynbow, you, tusk, asper, etc were quite fun. This new group of cats can't meow for ****, yanawwhdeyemsayn'.
the best bread: Spoiler also, grif, give all your money for me to hold until you desire something more meaningful and less material. or just go on a world tour and meet all the 4chubbers
