New teaser trailer just got released for the next CoD. Seems to me like its a spin-off of the MW series, but it's gotta be something different. In the past I heard that Sledgehammer might make a space-themed CoD. So glad they didn't take that route, and I'm even more glad they didn't do another sequel to BO2 or MW3. I might honestly get back into CoD with this game. I don't know if I'll stay with it or not, we'll have to see how good the game looks. What are your guys' thoughts and opinions?
Well.. I thought about the title for a while. Ghost respawned? As the internet calls it. You can say about the games, whatever you want.. But IMO, the Modern Warfare campaign and soundtrack were amazing. And it was one of the saddest moments in gaming ever (for me, others) when Ghost and Roach got shot. But did Ghost die? Probally not then He is pretty awesome. A masked hero, who never shows his face.. Sounds familar. Can't watch the video.. Internet is too slow here though.. Will watch it tommorow, when I return from vacation. Looking forward to it
It's a game about masks? I guess? How many mask perks are there? What about mask attachments? Mask proficiencies? Mask challenges? Can I prestige my masks? SO MANY QUESTIONS!!
If Ghost is actually in the game, then it's going to be a prequel to MW2. Ghost definitely didn't survive. Teaser trailer was totally lame. I'll keep my eye on the game. I've always preferred IW/Sledgehammer developed titles.
This was only the teaser trailer, so it kinda makes sense that not much is revealed here. There will be more info on May 21 at the next gen Xbox reveal.
I dont give a damn about COD nowadays, it been gradually getting ruined since MW2 by turning in to AR and SMG feasts. Hopefully Stronghammer will NOT be involved with this game. If they are not involved or if the gameplay looks good, i might consider getting it. Oh and the trailer was terrible... @Zig they will proberly reveal some of COD when the new XBOX is revealed since Ghosts is apperantky going on current and next gen.
Haha, yeah I know. I'm just not a fan of live-action trailers for video games in general. I'd be fine with having Sledgehammer attached. MW3 wasn't anything amazing but I still liked it more than any of the Black Ops titles. Also, I believe it's already been confirmed that we'll hear about the game at the Xbox event, right? I guess that means that means Xbox players will still be getting the DLC packages with the next-gen consoles.
Unfortunately this is true. 99% of weapons people use are assault rifles and smgs, nobody uses sniper or shotgun nowadays.
Can't say that for sure. You have to remember that a Sniper team was keeping a eye on Ghost and Roach, Shepherd didn't know this. Roach was already badly hurt, Ghost wasn't. One shot isn't always enough, the team could have pulled him out of the fire. Anywho.. I get the point, I have seen the teaser now and it isn't about Ghost himself I suppose. More like a unit of "Ghosts".
Oh my, people actually paid attention to the 'plot' of Modern Warfare games? I called it the time in between shooting random people who I was told had wronged my country. It was all leading up to one big "'Murica, fuk yah." Clearly Infinisty Ward is leting us shoot ghosts now. We will be playing the new Ghostbusters game soon! But seriously, I gave up on Call of Duty. Not buying their latest international hit again.
Hmm, at least they know how to catch people's attention year after year.. if this is focused on stealth fighting then I might be in, simply because stealth fighting is freakin' incredible. You do not understand. Also: I think their zombies stuff they've got going is pretty ingenious Other than that, they're the definition of a money grab series
Oh yes I do. And it was good, I really enjoyed it. Though I can't see what they are trying to do here, with "Ghosts", this has probally nothing to do with Ghost, more like a stealth unit or something.
Assuming this is true, one could look at every other Call of Duty title and realize with each iteration the player is part of a secretive operative force.
Pretty possible Zigy. But Pinohkio, the whole Modern Warfare series was about one task force. Several actually, one the most important, wich you were part of, of course.
You didn't play MW3 then. God damn was quick scoping broken in that game. Ghost Recon anybody? Or have we all forgotten about the pre-future soldier Ghost Recon.
