What if the movie was like a sum up of the books. Like a prequel for the new kids who haven't read the books. Bear with me as I add actors as I go. Will Smith might make a decent Sgt Johnson. Any hot ***** = Cortana.

They don't need to look hard for an actor for MC. Since they're not gonna show his face, they should just use the voice actor from the video games.

They were gonna make Halo: Faith.

But Microsoft decided to cancel it since they wanted every pound of money that the movie would make.

Sad too, I was so excited for Halo: Faith :(

    Wrong.

I can appreciate that you might not like it, fair enough, but to me and many others it's by far the most interesting part of Halo lore. I love the back story of the ancient galaxy, imo the Halo backstory and general universe is much more enjoyable and immersive than the greats like Star Wars. Forerunners, Precursors, Ancient Humanity and the early covenant. Love it all. And I'd LOVE to have that aspect visited in any movie or future series in the Halo universe. Saying that it's only a cash grab because you don't like it is pretty stupid.

I'd go with Eva Green over Emily Blunt. But I still think Kate Beckinsale would be best for Cortana.

    DO IT, DO IT NOW!

I was gonna say "but seriously" but that would of implied i wasn't been serious to begin with, I like the forerunner lore I like that they have this mystical God species about them how they had control over universe at some point. Problem is how to portray all that info to audience without confusing them.

I think movie should start out with some action scene (keep action goers interested) then quickly show/explain how the forerunner civilization works (as if this is just a alien movie about a foreign planet) then stuff happens flood come massive war with stuff happening then they do there thing with the civil war and making Halo's storing lifeforms DNA at the ark (all chaos kinda thing) stuff happens people betray people intrigue and mystery ensues and the climatic ending in Halo activating everything blows up. (and at end of credits have someone entering the DNA place of the ark, DUN DUN DAAA POSSIBLE SEQUEL!)
Later in their history, a Forerunner survey team came into contact with an extragalactic parasite known as the Flood on the planet G 617 g (details of this first contact are unavailable). After this first contact, the Forerunners immediately recognized the great danger that the Flood posed to the entire galaxy and attempted to contain them. However, even they underestimated the potential of the Flood to learn and adapt, believing it to be a non-sentient but highly contagious disease. As such, the attempt to contain the Flood was a failure, as they tried methods more suited to disease control than warfare, trying to contain and quarantine the Flood rather than attack and destroy it outright. The Forerunners did not attempt a more candid and forceful form of physical warfare until it was too late.[SUP][9][/SUP]

When the Forerunners were unable to contain the Flood outbreak, the galaxy entered a state of war. During the 300 years of the conflict, the Forerunner studied the Flood in labs such as the gas mine located in the atmosphere of Threshold, looking for any exploitable weakness. As the Forerunners soon realized that conventional naval tactics were ineffective against the parasite's onslaught, they developed new weapons and tactics to combat the Flood. The Sentinels were deployed as a means of maintaining the Flood through surgical, localized tactics. The Forerunner fleet command even contemplated using naval battle groups to enact premature stellar collapse within compromised planetary systems, causing supernovae to engulf entire worlds.[SUP][10][/SUP] However, as these tactics proved only to slow, but never stop the expansion of the Flood, the Forerunner leadership realized that the only way to stop the Flood was to deprive it of any and all hosts, thus eliminating its potential to grow. Eventually, the Forerunners created the Halo Array, a weapon of last resort designed to starve the Flood to death by killing all Sentient Beings with enough biomass to sustain them.[SUP][11][/SUP]
At first, the Forerunners were reluctant to use the Array, believing that they should continue to embrace the Mantle of Responsibility and to protect life rather than to destroy it. This led to great stretches of anguished debate and even civil war, but eventually it was decided that the Array was the only means of successfully stopping the Flood threat.[SUP][12][/SUP] The Gravemind managed to convince a Contender-class AI, 05-032 Mendicant Bias, to unite with the Flood. Mendicant Bias soon led his massive fleet in an attack on the "Maginot Line", the final barrier between what the Forerunners could actively protect and what they were forced to cede to the Flood. At last, the Forerunners exhausted every alternative and activated the Halo Array, killing themselves and all sentient life of sufficient biomass in the Milky Way, with the exception of those species safely placed on the Ark.

That part of Halo story line hasn't been shown in depth so it could be done for the fans and randoms who don't play Halo, They can use my AAA script if they want but I have one request nay demand, Bungie has to over look and have creative freedom over the project because I don't trust movie company's to be faithful to the Game's and players of Halo, I don't trust microsoft to do anything except make it as profitable as possible and I don't trust 343i not to **** it up. I want a Amazing Halo movie or none at all.

He's not that great as an actor, relies on his one liners to sell his movies. And he did have the body of a Olympian champion but not the chief (Stallone is the only 80's actions star that has stayed in shape). A spartan is not a bodybuilder and would be more fit than bulky.
