I'm not sure ForgeHub is going to tolerate this, but we'll find out sooner or later if they decide to lock or remove this thread. I guess this is different though, because 343i are - unlike Bungie - cool with modding, and these are gametypes anyway rather than maps. On top of all of this, you've only modded things that were regular options in the old Infection gametype already. Anyway, I already knew about some of your gametypes but the one that enables Flood sprint sounds really good especially, because it's probably the solution for the problem I found with warthogs on Flood maps in Halo 4 and couldn't figure out until yesterday, being the fact that the zombies simply can't keep up with the hogs. And if you give them huge speed, they'll spin out when trying to turn, plus infantry doesn't stand a chance. So yeah, I already know I'll be rocking Flood 2.0, Flood 2.0+ and Flood 2.0 Turbo in particular. Thanks! EDIT: Oh, and you should probably explain that the Flood skin is still enabled.
No problem man... I made the sprint one for ya because you gave me the idea. I didn't even think about adding sprint to Flood and when we played on 8-o-clock reminiscence, I see the warthog issue. The sprint feels great on Flood and natural.
As long as you guys aren't directly linking to or promoting modded content, you're fine. We're not going to penalize anyone for discussing it. By the way, Ghost, that black text is impossible to read for those of us using the dark skin.
Can you make a gametype like this? - Map weapons enabled - Floods Spawns with Plasma Pistol - Flood color forced Purple - Flood weapon pickup enabled - Flood model removed(Standard spartan model) I want to make a Spartan vs Covenant gametype, but with the standard Flood gametype is impossible
I'm not doing a bunch of mods, the goal for Flood 2.0 was to pave the way to reinstate custom game options. But, my opinion on what you want to do is that it's not realistic at all to use a Spartan model for Flood, if you want the Flood to be the Covenant. You'd be much better off with a Purple Flood skin.
