I'd like to hear what you think of the map. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know why no one has commented on this yet! It looks awesome! I really like what you did aesthetically with the Natural objects and the Haze caused by the water.

My one and only comment for improvement is the height advantage of the bases. It seems that if one team controls either of the towers that the players caught in the middle are almost completely exposed; however, this may also simply be because it's difficult for me to picture the entire map from the pictures you've posted. Maybe if you posted an overview picture of the map i could get a better idea of how the map will play!

Other than that it looks good. I'll give it Download!

Thank you! I think the map is balanced pretty well. I need to play more matches on it to be sure, but the upper section of the red base is pretty exposed to long range fire. This means taking a risk entering this lookout. Send me a friend request and I'll play a few matches with you on it.

From the pictures, this is quite a beautiful map, very easy on the eyes. Conifer Cove is certainly an appropriate name. I can only imagine what it would be like in person with the sound effects and moving water and trees.

I hope to see a trend away from enclosed, synthetic, arena maps. With Forge Island, some natural style maps can be made. I like how you use natural boundaries instead of walls. The scenery gives the map a much larger sense of scale than it would have otherwise had. Even on the synthetic parts, you leave a lot open. The only thing I can see, and this is just from the pictures, is that some of the rocky areas might be too suffocating and difficult to move around in. Provided ordnance drops and weapons are not on the upper areas, those spots should, in theory, not be too overpowering.

You say the only supported gametype is SWAT, is that a mistake?

This map deserves more attention. I will try it out once I have access to my 360 (maybe help you test it some more?).

I gave it a download and ran through it. This seems like a really cool 2v2 map. I think it is too small for 12 people though as it seems more like a 4-8 player map but probably best 4 to 6 players. I love the aesthetics and how the mist from the water touches the rocks. Bases aren't too shabby either. Nice work.

Lovely looking map. The moment I saw that area I wanted to either create or view a map based on that spot, well done.

This map supports Slayer, SWAT, Regicide, CTF and KOTH. I am also tired of synthetic looking maps. I also am tired of square shaped symmetrical maps. To me, a quality Forge map makes me forget that the map was created with such a limited list of pieces. I think more people need to make quality asymmetrical maps. It takes more time, but the result is a much less repetitive map.

Yeah, I looked around a bit for a spot I could use some of the existing rocks as walls. The island really balances the map out as well. The red base appears to be the only high point at first glance, but the hill next to blue base evens out the battlefield.

This map looks aesthetically appealing and truly interesting. I like that it is at the base of one of the islands, in the shadow it looks like. I can't wait to DL and check it out. Good work from the screen shots! CrimsonVolver

OK. I played a few games of 2v2 with friends last night. Very nice map. Rocks and use of fog looks natural with the structures. Most areas are jump-worthy. The only thing I noticed was that you can't jump to the top of the building close to the Island wall from the rocks. If you could make a small adjustment there that would be great. Perhaps just making a large enough opening in the railings for players to catch the platform. I really can't think of anything else. CV

This map is pretty big for 2v2. I think it may get a little crowded with 12 players, but 8 seems just about right. Check out my newest map, Gideon Outpost, under its Map Preview in Halo 4 Forge Discussion. I think this map will fit 10-12 players pretty well. Let me know what you think.

I'm not sure where you are talking about. The rock formations leading up to level two on either base are jumpable without crouch jumping. The rocks leading up to red base are a sort of 3 jump stair and the one leading to blue is a quicker ramp style slope you can run up and jump off. I changed the name of that map I was working on to Updraft and posted it. I changed it alot as well. If you have the time, try playing a match on it. I suggest a 4v4 or infinity rumble group of at least 6. I need some feedback on that one
