    New Link with fixes

    This Map was somewhat inspired by Sandtrap from halo 3 but is clearly different To Base's and a Central Structure Forge islands seems to complement the map with the availability of placing trees to show some contrast.

    So with all these Photos of the blue base rember that the red is identical just reversed symetrical i did not see the point of adding another 4-5 photos to show the same thing the central stucture is the same as well i will add a fixed version of the map after some more critisme so far i have to find a vechle that will not be to controlling and will not take away the player count to much.

    so far i have a great suggestion that the rocket hog should replace the mantis's that seems good but i wouldnt know if that would force people into vechels.

    We hope you enjoy our 10hrs of Forging and hope the spawning flows right we have only been able to test with 5 people and so far you don't spawn in direct fire.

    Fixes:
    -Blue Base Walkway covers were not coloured.
    -Deleted hiddin grid and active camo.
    -Fixed miss matched peices do to host switching.

    Thankyou and sorry for not having images straight away busy with another BTB idea and just trying to fleash it out.

    What happened to you guys being more relaxed and calm about these things, instead of scaring people away with this all-caps red text nonsense?

    Edit: Should probably change "Bungie" to "Waypoint." Copy paste fail :p

    Red text is there to let the person know what criteria they are not meeting, so as to avoid confusion...

    In what way does red colored text scare someone away?

    Saw this the other day and I loved it. The fact that you've allowed for vehicle gameplay reminds me of Halo 3. The design is simplistic and gameplay looks like itl flow very well, yet has a lot of aesthetic attraction to it so people won't get bored. Loving the sloped base design as well, keep it up :)

    A very good adaptation of Sandtrap, if not better! I'm especially impressed with the aesthetics, keep up the fine work.

    If that were the case, we should probably change our signatures or we are overshooting the goal completely. ;)

    About the map:
    People may disagree with me, but I as a matter of fact loved Sandtrap for a ton of reasons and still consider it one of the best non-forgeable map canvases for custom games that the Halo community has ever had.
    The fact that you remade it, but realized that a) it's very enjoyable to make something inspired by a previous map rather than making a straight remake, and b) it's not really possible to make a desert map on a grassy canvas, show that you know what you're doing. Gameplaywise I can't tell much from the picture, but aesthetically it looks great. Maybe you can try and add a couple more pictures with some gameplay footage, or something like a video?

    It looks good. I will definitely try it out. Might i suggest adding more pictures or ideally game play because your one picture doesn't show a lot. What types of vehicles are on the map because it looks large.

    Great looking map, it works really well with Forge Island. I have yet to play it, but from a quick look around it seems like their could be a greater emphasis on medium vehicles, such as the Warthog. The Mantis seems like it would be overpowered since it could just stand near the edge of the cliff and not allow anyone to get close, due to the lack of cover near the edges.

    Thankyou for someknowledge question for you now so remove the mantis's 300 and spend it on some more cover to the really open areas?

    I don't think the lack of cover will be a problem, considering those areas look like they'll be reserved for vehicle combat for the most part. However, the Mantis seems like it would be overpowered because it could just stand there and kill everything that comes into sight without any chance of anyone getting close to it due to the lack of cover. Maybe replace it with another vehicle, like a Rocket Hog or something.

    thanks i think r hog sounds good wraith to big/ same problem banshee didnt feel fair due to the openess with it being able to scale the map to quik.

    Well for example when I made my first post that wasn't up to standards and a mod made the scary red text. I was waking up in cold sweats for the next week. I started checking under my bed to see if glowing red words were sitting there waiting to pounce on me... *weeps softly*

    BTDubs gorgeous looking map. BTB isn't for me cause I never have enough friends for BTB custom's but hey I still can rate it can't I? very reminiscent of sand trap (which is a good thing) just needs some vehicular fixes.

    i dont know how to fix that sorry i tried highlighting the map in my fileshare but when i use the link in waypoint it keeps sending me to the overview image instead of the map.
    this so is not as easy as it was on reach.

    Can you tell me how to fix this please

    Wow! This looks amazing! It reminds me a lot of sandtrap and looks a bit like the sandbox map from halo 3. I love the new forge island pieces as well, which just helps make this map more beautiful. And it looks like it would have some really good vehicle gameplay with some of those open spaces. +1 DL!
