I never really played this Midship, or Derelict, having a N64, but I'm getting sick of remakes. I just hope it turns out well =]

Yeah, it definitely reminds me of one level towards the end. Who's to say that is a new picture? It could be an old one.
Yeah, I don't see how they have a picture from October 6, 2007 (before Heroic) of a map that hasn't come out yet. Of course, Standoff (right?) was meant to come out in the final version. It could be a new map. It is most likely a picture of Halo 2 campaign or maybe it is just a prototype map that they haven't released yet. Or, it could be purple reign (I guess). I hope it is a new map. And for everyone who said that "Bungie said it was new!!!", that doesn't mean it isn't a remake. I mean, they said Cottonball was a completely new idea (which, I guess it sort of was), but it was based off of Sidewinder. So, Bungie has lied before. EDIT: Now that I looked again, it can't be from Halo 2. The monitor on the right has the full graphics on it, and those are definitely Halo 3 GFX.
Agreed that they have lied before, and it's great to see covenant themed maps, hopefully multiplayer but I just can't see this screenshot being any representation of what a finaly map may look like in the Legendary DLC for being a map that apparently looks worked on before the Heroic maps, looking almost at completion. (From what we can tell from that image anyway). It just does not seem to be anything to be excited about untill Bungie themselves release some images, because untill then it could look completely different. Like Bungie said, they had Purple Reign pretty much completed and where testing it but then the level designer for the map suddenly had a cool idea and desided to add it in. Just like some bridge switch they added last minute after testing started because it seemed like a cool idea. Old photo = Unreliable (Untill verified by the makers)

Just think back to when heroic was released and the time after that Legendary was released. You're looking at around August if they keep to the same deadline.
They said they didn't have plans to make it free. And Nemi, they said they aren't involved in either Chronicles nor Halo Wars.
Looks like the environment of Midship. I like Midship, so if it gets brought back to Halo 3, I will love it.

Well, Nemi has a point, becuase Bungie HQ is not in Kirkland, Wahington. I think this guy is working on the prequel (which Bungie is not making, but Microsoft is, which IS stationed is Washington.) Any way, it looks like a Covenant Hang 'Em High to me, that is if it for Halo 3...

I don't know, It doesn't look like it'll be a Midship remake. It may have similar structures, but the lay out looks different. But We'll wait till we get the final word from Bungie.
