Hey guys, I'm back with another map preview. This one I just finished with the dust-up comp in mind. I haven't had the chance to play test it yet so if anyone would like let me know. The weapons on map, which are subject to change are 1. Shotgun x1 - no extra clips 2. Rocket Launcher x1 - 180s - no extra clips 3. DMR x2 - 60s -1 extra clip 4. Battle Rifle x2 - 60s - 2 extra clips 5. Frag Grenade x4 - 30s I coloured a bit of the map, but I'm not sure how I feel about it so let me know what ya think. The red dot is the rockets and the blue dot is the shotgun (underneath)
yea that building and a lot of the architecture you've chosen does look really good. as for colors, I like the cyan used in this manner. as another current discussion seems to indicate, over-use of many colors together in one map can sometimes cause an eye-sore. But if you just choose to make your map a particular color, I think that's fine. [br][/br]Edited by merge: also, I'm curiuos as to why you chose to do two cwalls back to back in some exterior walls. what was the reason for doing this? doesn't look bad, and may not be noticable except for the overhead shot you took... but it piqued my interest
There were some ramps sticking through the first one so I just doubled up the wall to hide it. And thanks guys :happy:
Agreed, it looks amazing. I haven't seen anyone use that piece setup before. Aesthetically, everything looks pretty clean. I like how you've incorporated some natural Ravine geometry into the map. The cyan colouring definitely improves things. I'll try and play this soon so I can give some feedback on the gameplay. What is the recommended player count?

this played well the other night, and I think some of our suggestions may be in the new version, so yea if you grab that it should play even better. I must say, I love joining a lobby and getting into a match and then thinking "Hey, I saw a preview of this today!" IDK why, but that just brings a smile to my face
Referring to the over head picture, I made a new walk up to the second floor from both the small grass area and from the right of the north base. I also made a partial second floor above the rocket spawn. I removed the central statue thing in the northern area and reduced the number of "spines" next to each base. I also put a scorpion tank outside of the fence for some aesthetics
