That's a fair point. But I dunno, I think Wi-Fi would do wonders for the Battle Tower and Secret Bases. Contests too, now that I think about it. Real Day/Night and changing weather would be neat as well. Well, until they actually make it, we'll never know. IF they make it. nintendo pls
There is a theory with the r/s remake I heard somewhere. When ruby and sapphire were made, you were cut from the previous 2 entries. Now that the remakes of those exist, and you can still get r/s/e pokemon in the newer gen games via trade, there is no need to remake it. It makes sense, you lost connection to your previous games, so remake them in a way compatible to the newer ones. However a second conept arose with this: no remake is ever made before a new gen. gen 3 came before remakes of r/b (GBA), gen 4 came before hg/ss (DS), and gen 6 (the fifth being an odd one because it was an extra series for the same console) on the 3DS (a new system) has come before any possible r/s remake. Following this tradition, remakes of ruby and sapphire will be the next pokemon games announced, and they will make similar advances that the 6th gen did, just as the previous remakes have in the past taken concepts from that current gen it exists alongside.
You went way too deep into sarcasm there. I was hoping you would put on your big boy pants and at least try google, but I guess not. Anyways, it is a website dedicated to playing casual or competitive pokemon battles. If you have heard of pokemon online, it's a battling simulator like that, but it only requires entering a URL and creating a username (which combined takes about 15 seconds). Pokemon Showdown! In the server, you'll notice other matches going on; the usernames and even the tiers they are playing in. Click a match and you'll be able to spectate. - I also wish there would be a R/S remake. I've never beaten the game due to just sucking at pokemon. Maybe I'll get around to it eventually. Edit: V This is why I don't like fully explaining things...
Does anyone have a female vulpix with drought or a female sharpedo with speedboost that they'd be willing to trade? Or a sheer force nidoqueen. Edit; Found a drought vulpix, the other two I still need though. Also looking for someone to trade with so I can evolve my scyther, it would go to you and then right back to me, but I can still offer stuff if you need incentive. (Stuff like the event keldeo, or some female dreamworld pokemon)
Bumpy bump bump. New Pokemanz. Happens to be a new Eeveelution. Looks hawt. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=pse_I1klRhA Can't work out the type. Right now I'm leaning towards either flying, fighting or a normal type.
Not a big fan, but obviously not designed for me anyway. Actually kind of excited for X and Y, hoping for more info soon.

Fan speculation is that it will be a new type. Light type. It also should be noted that what is dark type in the english and localized versions, is basically "evil" or "hate" type, so light would probably be more like "love". Just some thoughts. As for how the eeveelution looks... its ugly as ****. Like Victini started crossdressing and put on bows n' ribbons.
haha, I don't know, its not all that bad. The others have it beat (except for Flareon most likely), but I have no issue with this. Any source to the Light Type theories? I'd be interested to hear more.
This made me laugh. I agree that it looks a bit weird, but I had the same opinion when all of the Unova Pokemon were announced. Most of them looked completely odd, but now a lot have grown on me - I love many of them now. However, some still look completely idiotic; Gurdurr, I'm looking at you! This speculation is really interesting, and I actually think it's possible. Here's why: notice how in the trailer, each starter Pokemon uses two moves? It's thought that Chespin has a Dark move, Fennekin has a Psychic move and Froakie has a Fighting move - this creates another type-triangle (similar mechanics to Fire/Water/Grass), however Fennekin has a disadvantage: Psychic moves have NO effect on Dark types. Introducing a Light type (and making Fennekin Fire/Light) opens up a possibility for another fair triangle. Of course, another fair triangle already exists with Rock/Flying/Fighting, however the starters didn't appear to use those moves. Just mah tooo centz.
I don't know where you're going with this. Do you mean Fire does 2x damage against Grass? If so, think about it this way... Fire beats Grass. Grass beats Water. Water beats Fire. We have ourselves a strengths triangle that goes one way round, thus a weaknesses triangle the other way round. Fennekin > Chespin > Froakie Introducing a second type into here reverses the direction of the strengths triangle between the three starters thus reversing the weaknesses triangle as well. Fighting beats Dark. Dark beats Psychic. Psychic beats Fighting. The problem with the new weaknesses triangle is that Psychic has NO effect on Dark, instead of what should be 0.5x damage in a fair situation. Fennekin < Chespin < Froakie Makes sense? Excuse me if I completely missed the point.
Pooooooo. I suppose you're right. I guess I was getting too involved in the complete and utter fairness side of things instead of thinking to consider what a normal person would do given the situation. I mean, why use a not-very-effective move if you have a super-effective move? Harhar... Silly me. Anyway, have any of you heard of the 'Lavender Town Syndrome'? I discovered it on the Internet a few days ago and it's really intriguing, albeit slightly disturbing. Info and more info.
Is there anything more depressing than realizing that your starter is your weak link? Freaking Emboar... This is the first time I've ever regretted picking the fire starter. And I've never had a problem with it before, but I find it annoying that [in Black] if you want a great team, you pretty much have to drop most of the guys you trained from the beginning and just get Legendaries. At lvl 75, Seismitoad and Zebstrika are the only two remaining that I had in my party before beating the last gym...
I slightly agree with you about Emboar. He isn't like any of the other Fire starters, being that he's outrageously slow. I found a nice little niche for him, though. I gave him Flare Blitz, Hammer Arm, Wild Charge and Earthquake, and used him as a suicidal Pokemon with massive damage. I have to disagree with your second comment, though. There are plenty of decent Unova Pokemon. I actually planned out my teams before starting White and White 2 (something I haven't done before). In White, I had Serperior, Victini, Krookodile, Chandelure, Beartic and Zekrom. In White 2, I had Emboar, Lucario, Espeon, Vaporeon, Braviary and Zoroark. Both teams served me well.
I like Krookodile and Chandelure, but they don't fit with my current team. Beartic suffers from the same flaw as Emboar: too slow without enough Defense to compensate. With recent generations coming out with attacks with power over 100 for nearly every Pokemon type, if you don't attack first, you had better be able to take a lot of hits.
quite alot of the gen V pokemon outclass older pokemon that did the same things. Prime example being Hydreigon and Haxorus being better than every other dragon type before.
There was a super hot chick working at gamestop today, and she was talking about Pokemon X and Y. Please, Teach me the knowledge of these pokemanz.
