    THE WEDGE

    The Wedge is a 4v4 competitive, symmetrical, arena style map built for Infinity Slayer. CTF, Oddball, and KOTH are all supported but untested. It's a re-make/re-hash of a map I built for Halo: Reach, and as such has gone through quite a few updates and refinements along the way. The map was inspired by elements of Narrows and Sanctuary, two of my favorite Halo maps, and is an attempt to blend parts of both in a way that looks good and plays well. Combat is focused on the top-middle area, but flows well throughout the entire map. Players are constantly trying to flank top mid, and encounters can be found throughout as enemies try to do the same.


    Weapon Spawns:
    Power weapons are delivered by Initial Ordinance, all on 3 minute timers. No one weapon has a distinct advantage on the map, but all have areas that they can do well in. Grenade Ordinance are on 2.5 minute timers. There is also one random ordinance consisting of a Railgun/Sticky Launcher, weighted towards the Railgun.

    Intended callouts are simple and easy to understand, but feel free to use your own if you'd like.

    At first I saw that it was on the 'Forerunner' side of Ravine and thought: " Oh god, here we go". But this looks amazing:D Haven't played it but it looks like it would be very fun. I'll try and remember to get some games on this sometime.

    What's wrong with the Forerunner side? Has it been overdone or something?

    Nothing is really wrong with it, but usually because of the almost exclusively UNSC pallette anything built there looks really out of place, at least in my experience anyway.

    I'll have to agree that Ravine's unique palette is severely lacking. There is ONE piece that matches the forerunner structure. There's only SIX pieces in the palette! I was very disappointed with it.
