If you get a chance I would recommend trying a CoD game, I'm assuming you like FPS because you play halo and CoD is a decently fun game it gets a bad rap because of grinding+milking game releases.(I would recommend Mw3)

I don't mind taking things from other games to make your game better, To create something from scratch you have to first invent the universe,

But Microsoft is taking things from CoD purely for sales to the detriment of the game which is where my issue is, If they had of spent time and planning they could of made CoD elements work well in Halo 4 but they just copy pasted some features without much (if any, it seems like in some situations) foresight or thought how it will effect the game.

I know COD is a good or decent game for FPS but it's really not my style. I could only play a military-themed FPS if it has a horror or sci-fi aspect. The **** zombies mode looks cool but I wouldn't want to buy it just for that. I can tell the competitive matchmaking of COD is not very skill based at all. You die way too easy and it's way too easy to get kills. Just seems who ever pushes the shoot button first gets the kill and there isn't any skill or tactics involved other than run around and shoot.

I love Halo because it's sci-fi themed, unique, high quality, you have 3 full sets of weapons and grenades to use that are very unique and interesting, you can jump high and do trick jumps, you have cool armor abilities, you can drive and fly vehicles, you can easily jump in forge and casually play around making maps with friends, can create custom games... the list goes on and on. You also have shields so if you get shot you at least have a chance to survive by running and taking cover, but in COD you have no chance once that trigger is pulled; you're dead. Anyone can be good at Call of Duty it seems. People who are COD fanboys usually hate Halo because they suck terribly when they try to play it. They can't stand having to empty a clip into someone to kill them because it's not an easy kill and they don't feel like they are good.

Call of Duty would really bore me and probably just make me mad, lol. As far as Microsoft goes, I do not like them at all and I believe they should have no say so of what goes into a video game and should let the developers do it. Microsoft doesn't know anything about video games, at all. They know about making money and overcharging $5 for a shirt for an avatar, it's all they really care about is money not making a good game. If they had specifically told 343i to put any aspects into Halo 4 it is a travesty.
