You guys have to realize that these guys thought that auto pick-up objectives were a great addition to competetive gameplay.

They gave us a no instaspawn option, now they need to give and auto pickup option and the game will be worlds better imo.

I can view the fileshare and You can download screenshots(well there is a download button idk if it works) but there is no download button for maps/gametypes/films only choice is "Add File"

lol We can't start discussing all the failings of 343i and what could of been better we will be here all year.

William, it's "could have", not "could of".

You can now view your recent screenshots on waypoint like with bungie.net However, the screen resolution is horrible! Still better to extract screens through Horizon for better quality.

Damn that sucks... why they gotta skimp on resolution because of filesize... Microsoft is an extremely rich and greedy successful company as if they can't afford the space on the server to host higher resolution screenshots. Curse them to Oblivion.

Huh. What kind of file is that? I hit download and it saves something that doesn't even seem to be an image file.

EDIT - It is an image file, but doesn't have a file extension. It does open up in Photo Viewer though, so it must be a .jpg or something. Get it together, 343.

That is not my experience. The resolution is 1080 like Horizon produces.

That's true. All of them except Overdoziz.

Yeah, it looks OK to me too. Once I downloaded the file, opened it in the default Windows Photo Viewer, and hit the button to view Actual Size, it looks good.

By the way, I think EA Sports cranked out five new versions of Madden in the time it took 343 to finish online fileshares... ¬_¬

I tried and it is saving .jpg images for me at 1920 x 1080 ... looks good. Although my signature looks like **** when I upload it here. Guess because it is auto-resizing. I'll try to fix that in photoshop.

How did you save them to jpeg's? It won't let me save them as any file type I recognize. Also the images are the same size but seem more pixelated to me. When I blow them up to fill my desktop the quality doesn't seem that great to me. It may be b/c I'm having issues properly extracting these from waypoint. I can only view them in windows image preview and can't save them as a legit file.

Edit: Ok, figured it out. After you save the image it will list as "blahblahjh3b32hj5b324hb54hb54hb", you then have to go find the file and rename it "filename.jpg" and it works fine. It just needs that ".jpg" on the end.

Oh em gee, Nutduster thinks im cool.
Going to destroy that though.. The title says "Fire share's..."

I wasn't very optimistic about the late release, but whatever. Its something, and Forgehub is going to be busy again.

p.s. jpeg is terrible for art, due to shader loss

try using .png or .tiff instead

(or .RBG if you really want no compression)

    depends on the compression.

A very high quality jpg works just fine for art.

.png is the best in my opinion but in this reference, it does not matter, quality remains the same no matter what tag you out on the end. Trust me, I know about graphic design and filetypes.

    .jpeg doesn't support transparency

I use .png for causal stuff
    and .tiff for game assets
