WARNING the reason i posted this map was to get the idea out, before some one made something like it... I will make a v2, that i will put a lot of work into... Apple White: A CtF map About the map: This weekend i was pretty bored. I have bean working on a map on foundry for quite a while now, but i was getting bored of the same old map. So I decided to make a map on Avalanche, The idea is simple, but plays well, now with out further ado, i present Apple White Story: The battle of red vs blue has bean going on for a long time. Nothing can really stop it. They have bean at battle in avalanche for about three years, well, ever since combat evolved. Its gotten alot colder, and they have bean forced to stay inside, but the fight lives on. They use the caves and bases to continue on with their never ending war. Since the flag is so heavy, it slows down the one holding it, and making him heavier. Because of the weight, man cannons don't work, so if you are carrying the flag, stick to the bridge. In each base, there is a teleporter, that leads to the cave, the only real rule is o try not to tele camp. This game is only for CtF, but if people like it i will make more game-types, as well as a v2. This didn't take long, and i know its not amazing, but its fun.... ENJOY!!! im downloading now but from your screenshots i think im going to be somewhat disapointed lets hope im wrong as im a big admirer of you forging capabilities. Ill get back to you on how i feel
It's a nice simple map.I obviously can tell you didn't spend much time on it,like you said.But this looks like a fun map to play when bored or just wanna chill out.I really won't rate it ,but nice job and if you make a V2 then you should spend some more time on it to make it better.
After playing this map through and taking into account the time is was made Id say its pretty fluent gameplay however only one issue came up which was teleporting camping ( assassinating people as they came out of teleporters ) but with friends that shouldnt be a problem
I really like the title "Apple White" it work very well with the map. 4/5 the post doesn't really show the map well.
After playing for about an hour with a small party, the score was still 0-0. I think the map itself could use a little more and game settings for this map should be included.
I think I understand this. The player is blocked in the bases which are connect via the cannon cave with teles. looks pretty good, very simple though.
ok no offense whatsoever....but..i'll give you props on the floating pathways otherwise,the map looks like garbage.it looks like it took you 2 second to make just like that map that had a box in it.from the screens it looks like you didnt even put 1% of effort in it.for god sakes it look like a 5 year old did this,and i bet he could have done a better job.honestly this map is second to the most garbage map i have seen.once again take no offense to what i just said.
