Magic is bestowed from the traveller according to Bungie, multiple sources. As a fictional "powers" (because it isn't magic) system? Bioware really did. I think it's awfully hackneyed, but credit where credit's due.
I don't think so. The massive creatures in the first picture look like these guys: They seem like they could either be the size of a Krogan from Mass Effect (a bit taller than a human) -> incredibly stumpy. I doubt players will get to be huge. Side note: this game looks awesome! I can't really base my opinion on much, but the story looks promising and I love the character models.
Your probably right, Because the guys on side in my 2nd picture look like these guys And they look human size, Might of went though a design change or different variant because first two pics have a slit in there face and kinda "hayabusa" style shoulder. Least we know these two enemies will likely be on the same team if there is multiple teams (pretty sure there will be)
It sure is easy to pick out similarities between images and something you want to compare it to than it is to find differences isn't it. Other than the broad sci-fi concept of aliens, futuristic society, very little of the concept art looks like anything else I've seen so far.
Well... that was pretty non-sequiter. Why argue semantics instead of just looking up what Biotics were in the context of Mass Effect? Anyways, I'm pretty excited at how this is looking. I was always frustrated by being only able to explore the Halo universe in game in a linear fashion, so a more open world setting with a lot of RPG elements excites me for both the gameplay and our ability to see the universe really fleshed out. Can't wait for E3 this year.
non-sequitur* Because I know whatever Biotics are in Mass effect there not the first to invent magic powers or whatever they semantically call it (biotics) and I know they didn't invent the way which they acquired the magic powers(Born with,Outside force implanting it,Bioengineering,Cyborgs, etc idk because I haven't played it) But I do hope there is giant enemies because would be fun having weak points and strategies like fighting a scarab it helps to destroy the legs first. Since you have have like parties of 6 at least would be cool to have boss monsters.
Guys trudging through the snow with the tank are The Fallen (Spider-Pirates). I hope The Fallen's "dungeons" means there'll be some instances in the game.
See the tank. It is actually alive. I hovered my mouse over the pic on an article and it said"organic tank-bungie"
This confirms my suspicions. If you look at the "tank"'s legs, it clearly looks organic. Nice find! [br][/br]Edited by merge: I hope they're not called missions too, that's just what the article called them though. What I was getting at with the weapons is the way I think it works is some weapons are class restricted, or at least amplified by specific classes. I doubt the Warlock will have one of these weapons because the focus seems to be on his powers. Obviously this is speculation because it would be entirely foolish to try and assume what he's going to play like, but I'm just trying to see how it would work.
Destiny PlayStation 4 Official Announcement - YouTube Destiny announced for PS4, with exclusive content going only on the PlayStation.
I'm seeing that it's coming to PS3 and PS4. How the hell is that going to work? Will it be different on the two or basically the same? I can't think of a single example of an identical title spanning 2 generations of consoles as full original releases. Destiny (video game) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Splinter Cell Double Agent came out for the original Xbox and the Xbox 360. There were minor differences in the two, but about 92% of them were the same.
Since not everyone buys a new console right when they release the move to release it for both is to get both markets. New adopters of the PS4 and those who already had a PS3. As far as the differences between the versions, my guess is it will be like the differences between a console game and the PC version. Much higher graphical fidelity (because the PS4 can support it.
**** exclusive content, seriously. There's no ****ing reason for it. It wouldn't surprise me if the xbox version has exclusive content the same way the 360 version of Soul Calibur IV got an unlockable characater (Yoda), and the PS3 version got Darth Vader. If that's the case, announcing that PS3/ PS4 gets exclusive content now is an exploitive way to build a rapport with an unfamiliar fan base. "We care so much about PlayStation users we're giving you an in-game cloak for your character that 360 users don't get", and then closer to the launch date it's "Don't worry Xbox users, we still care. We're giving you an in-game cloak that even PlayStation users don't get". **** this ****. While I'm at it, **** pre-order incentives, and limited/ collector's edition incentives.
Pre-order incentives and exclusive content are horrible. Limited edition exclusives I can understand.
Agreed. Or else there's literally no reason to spend more money, unless you just enjoy having a different case.
