When I'm buying something, and the person at the register hands me all my change, bills and coins, in one inconvenient stack. Why does this bother me? Because it increases the chance of me dropping a coin, and when you don't have fingernails and are in a rush, it's very easy to make a fool of yourself trying to pick up a quarter for 30 seconds, only to drop it again. :C
Well I just talked with the parents of the girl that broke my computer they basically gave me the middle finger, by saying that it was my fault, that I am liable, and that they don't have to do jack **** because the school hand book says they don't have to. The father then proceeded to say that If I ever talk to their daughter again about this again, they are going to sue us for harassment! words cannot describe how ****ing angry I am right now.
School policy protects the school from liability, not the students. You should consult a lawyer about your options regarding a civil case.

If it is possible lawyer up as high as possible. Throw the book in there faces as hard as possible. I don't know the economic status of this family, but I'd say that the threat of lawsuits scare most people shitless.

I made a thread about it elsewhere, but I'm so pissed at this little ****er that keeps screwing with my car. Like 3 weeks ago, someone broke into my car to steal my iPod that I kept in my console. I can take responsibility for that because I probably should have kept my car doors locked despite the fact that you can literally unzip my roof. 2 weeks after that, after I thought there was nothing left of value, the same **** (or at least I assume it's the same one) comes back, after I started being more cautious about securing my car, to steal what's left: cheap sunglasses, some basic car-tools, and a cup filled with maybe $2 in nickels that I use to pay tolls. I'd be over it by now, but every time I take my car out, it's at the time where the sun is shining bright as hell in my eyes and I don't have a convenient pair of glasses, reminding me of how much I want to wreck this son of a *****.
