Simple question. I'd test it but I'm not near my XBox, and probably won't have time until later in the week. Has anyone experimented with this? If you put a low grav trait zone in the same space as a grav zone, does it make you even lower grav, or reverse gravity, the way two grav zones stacked will do? Or does one simply override the other?
off the top of my head i think it works acording to hierarchy of what you give them ie alpha over beta etc. could be wrong though [br][/br]Edited by merge: i was, its reversed, delta over charlie over bravo over alpha they do no subtract ot multiply
I know that's true of trait zones if you try to stack them, but does a trait zone stack with a grav zone, or does one override the other? I'm not sure how they relate to one another.
They stack. If you place a trait zone to lower gravity over a grav zone, you'll fly around, bobbing up and down at the top of the grav zone.
RST, does it cause the player to start floating like zero-G or do they need to jump to make it happen? I had this thought the other day too... great minds???
You have to jump to activate it, otherwise you'll simply be running on the ground. But, once you jump you'll be slowly lifted up to the top of the grav-zone, where you'll be lifted up out of the ground zone, and fall back into the grav-zone, and then be lifted back up by the grav-zone, over and over again, for all eternity.
sounds sort of like "bouyancy" so I'm really curious to see what ND comes up with! [br][/br]Edited by merge: tried this last night and did some experimenting... it's really cool. i was able to use a variation of the method discussed to create a very close simulation to actual zero-g.
