I would imagine you could just go to your recently played gametypes and save it from there. I know I did that in Reach for Power Slayer and other gametypes in the Action Sack. If saving the no-instant-respawn gametype is possible, I will actually cry tears of joy. It will help small maps so much and we won't have to go through all the bother of finding a modded gametype. EDIT: Just managed to play a Doubles Pro game in matchmaking and saved the gametype. I modified it to be exactly the same as my old game type, except there's one difference... No instant-respawn! WOOOOOO! Sorry for the off-topicness.
Wait a sec. Does this 2v2 Dust-Up gametype include or disclude insta-spawn? (If include, insert enhanced radar rage comments here.)

That's still being discussed. We're just not sure of how many people have gotten started building maps based around the current game and weighing the pros and cons of instaspawn versus no instaspawn.
No instaspawn - Here's why in a nutshell. 1. Skill-less revenge killing. 2. Same issue as sprint, "press button for skill-less free bonus" effect. The difference with sprint is that mods are needed to remove it, and you can't exactly post mods on the site.. 3. Enhanced radar. 4. Enhanced radar. 5. Smaller, less complex (note the double meaning of that word) maps means better performance on average.
No instant respawn has WAY too many pros to not be implemented into the Dust Up Variant. Like I said, this Dust Up Variant was just a bit too pre-emptive since the Doubles Pro Gametype is just about everything anyone ever wanted out of a Pro Gametype. Hard to believe that you guys are "weighing pros and cons" of instant respawn vs no instant respawn. I get that some forgers may have taken instant respawn into account, but no instant respawn will only help those maps play better. Also, power ups should be allowed on these maps. This is FORGEhub and a forger should be allowed to put power ups if he wants to.
I understand that it may be undesirable to alter a gametype for this now that it has been released to the public, and people building their maps alreday is definitely a reasonable concern. However, with all of the advantages of no instant respawn, some of which have previously been mentioned, there seems to be a strong reason to altering the designated gametype. Atop the advantages of no instant respawn, we can clearly see by the comments thus far that it would be preferred by the community over the current instant respawn setting. Let's also take in consideration the size of our 2v2 maps. They are small for the most part, I've played a few of the maps being submitted and they can play incredibly hectic with the current settings. I feel that this change in respawn settings would slow the game down a bit, rather than having no repercussion for death, this way we cant just hit x and get back in it. This brings in more danger and strategy. For a competitive 2v2 tournament, is this not something to desire? I personally feel like the gametype is fun as it is. I also feel like the gametype currently can be bettered with this change (for the reasons stated above). I will look forward to seeing what the end decision of this is. It will not influence the submissions so much I think, but the game will change, and I expect it would be a grand alteration to the settings.
Nooch, I've actually been discussing both of those issues with Organite through VMs. It sounds like both the instant respawn and power-up issues will be changed, although I'm still waiting for definite confirmation from either him or RST.
Well, my map has worked with instant respawn so hopefully it would still work out with the change, which I am all for btw.
All i know is I love dubs. Loved(and hated) it in halo 3, enjoyed it in reach, and when i saw insta-spawn was gone in it for halo 4... I died and went to heaven. So if the gametype gets updated with no insta-spawn I would really enjoy it.
Yet another vote for no instant respawn. The smaller the gametype, the more instant respawn messes with it. Its pretty damn bad in dubs. The scale to which you'd have to design your map to actually rely on instant respawn is huge imo. Even Relay (or whatever the MLG variant is called) really suffers from instant respawn in dubs, and I personally wouldn't want to see dubs maps much/any bigger than that. On this basis I can't see maps which have been started suffering from a switch to timed respawns.
