Commerce Map Pack Trailer - YouTube
    Trailer by Oli the G

Hello all. I would like to present to you a collection of my finest Halo 4 2v2 maps.
All three of these maps will be submitted to the Dust-Up contest and are designed around the given gametype.

    Traverse

Traverse is, in my opinion, the best of the pack and my personal favorite. The inspiration came from the quote in the contest thread, describing the life of the two soldiers. I wanted to create a map that promotes and rewards teamwork and communitcation. Travese offers flanking and supportive routes to help you get the drop on your opponents.

    Weapons:
    DMR: 2, respawn: 45, 1 extra clip
    Carbine: 2, respawn: 45, 1 extra clip
Sniper Rifle: 1, respawn: 180, 0 extra clips
    Railgun: 1, respawn: 150, 1 extra clip
    Plasma grenades: 4, respawn: 45

    Contour
So, Contour came along one day out of complete boredom. I started throwing down objects in a semi-urban looking manner, and it took off really quickly. It takes place in a developing devision in a made up place. In space.
I had some help from Frenchys on this one involving aesthetics.

    Cache

Cache is a reimagination of my map frome Reach, "Jackbasket," to an extent. I removed the top teleporter to improve the spawning and moved the weapons and such. Not much more to say, other than it's rather enjoyable. :p

Specials thanks to Titmar for the screenshots in the preview thread, and to KAZEROID for the videos.

From the video's thumbnails everything looks cool, so I'll give these a DL, but honestly, right now I don't have time to sit through 9 minutes of footage. Although it's nice to have a video, please don't rely on it as not everyone has the time to go and watch it or they might be browsing on their phones and they couldn't see it even if they wanted to. Some screenshots would fix that, even if it was only like three screenshots per map or something.

Good point. Unfortunately I do not have access to the extractor or even a camera. As soon as I get some screenshots, I'll put them up.

    That's what I said.
By the way, the maps are in my fileshare.

Edit: Haha I didn't see the link. I must seem like an ass :p

Beautiful job on all three maps. The layouts are very interesting with good height variation and well thought out LoS. I like the way each map had a color theme that it adhered to and u put a lot of work into the aesthetics. Love the use of dominion objects to show where weapons are in the absence of ordnance drops as well. I dont think i would change anything on any of the three maps. Awesome stuff man

    Cache needs more lifepits.

Every time I see a map of yours, I think it's that one we played earlier. When are you going to get to posting a preview of it? :p

Herb, your comment means alot. I'm extremely excited about these three, and that you like them.

Spin, First of all, lifepits are lame ;p. Second, i can only ever follow half of your comments, hahaha. What did you mean by the preview?

I actually haven't played Contour or Cashe in a game, but both look great. What I can speak for is Traverse. It is a great design and enjoyable every time from the very first iteration to the very latest. Your forging rate is rather incredible, to throw that together and already publish it is shocking to me. You've got some great maps here, and I look forward to what comes next.

I mean when are you going to post a preview of that map we played together?

    Contour, Traverse, Cache.

    Contour, with its lumps
Reminds me of a space cat
    Yellow Meow mix. Lumps.

    Traverse, no warthog
    warthogless is this green map
    It is also cool.

    Cache, New Jackbasket
Why are there so many shmeefs?
    ****, it's Jackbasket.

Here is my Haiku Pack. Enjoy :)

After playing a few games with you on each of these, I can honestly say that this is some mighty fine work. Congratulations on the HaloCustoms feature.

OK. So. You need some screenshots and stuff for all 3 maps. I think I could go 1 better. How would you fancy a map pack trailer? At the very least I will showcase 1 map, but hopefully I can show all 3 in one video.

If you have some gameplay footage, send us it and I can get right on it.

    What do you think?

I'm looking at these maps, and all I can say is "wow". All three maps are great from the first minute of each video, so I'll give them a download; I doubt that some others will see as much I did that quickly, so I'd suggest pictures. Horizon is a great way to extract files, and there are a few programs that let you change the file type (this is how I upload photos).
