People.. Something new to talk about? Feast your eyes on this. First Look at Halo 4's Spartan Ops: Episode 6 - YouTube Just look at the new enviroments, the effort put into it (1:40). This is pretty amazing. Get much more hope in SpOps and i hope that the title update in february brings good news, but for know.. Lets discuss this.
Look, right. They've had a long day at work, and you piling on the pressure doesn't help! Maybe if you dressed up once in a while...
I'm honestly fairly excited for the second half of SpOps, as I've been actually having a pretty fun time playing recently. And since there are finally new environments, that enjoyment can only increase.
Is it weird that's haven't touched Spartan Ops? Lol I just don't have anyone to play with cause everyone's already played it, and it seems more like something you're supposed to play with a partner..
I havent played spartan ops either, though it kinda pisses me off that I have the entire season 1 auto-downloaded to my HDD, but I'm unable to play it because of an artificial barrier
Not missing out on much, Played it once with someone was lagging like how it did when I played campaign online from previous Halo's. I didn't enjoy it was generic enemy after generic enemy with no challenge at all. Unlimited respawns with easy enemy's, As long as your playing you have to win eventually I don't find that fun. Maybe that's just me though. (I found campaign in Halo 4 more fun) ODST firefight was fun because it was hard, Reach firefight was fun because customization, Halo 4 spartan ops was meant to be fun because? there is things to kill?
How can it not be fun? it plays pretty much the same way the campaign does. Go here push that button, now go over there and push that button. Oh and kill everything in between.
2 reasons, 1st is subjective me personally for whatever reason after playing campaign i was like "this is mildly enjoyable" after playing few spartan ops i was like "That just felt like a grind no goal purpose or challenge" 2nd reason is more objective:In campaign when you die it reverts to last checkpoint and was difficult at some parts because of that reason. In Spartan ops at least in co-op we both died heaps and at same time and without any penalty's(unlimited lives no reverting to checkpoints) meaning we just suicide ran into enemy's because it was the quickest most efficient way of winning and doing any other way would of just felt tedious. Even if a campaign mission and a spartan ops mission where exactly same except the respawning rules (no penalties) I would prefer campaign rules because spartan ops makes it less challenging and I enjoy challenges. (can't say that's just an irrelevant rule, the gameplay is the same and the important part, Because games are made entirely out of arbitrary rules to enable a certain experiences)
I new it was sarcasm i just wanted to elaborate. I'm still curious how fileshare will effect the game. If even after they release it will there actually be any good mini games, If so will it be comparable to the amount of mini games in Reach or will it be like 1 or 2 mediocre mini games and all file share hype dies within a day and goes back to normal.
So.. Spartan Ops is out, and the new forge playlist. The file to download the SpOps is 2.2GB though, sigh. Has anyone played it yet? I will right after it is downloaded. I will play some more of the Forge playlist, hope it is any good.
It should be high considering it would take them approximately zero seconds to do it. The gametype would be almost exactly the same as Reach but updated with a couple new options specific to Halo 4. That's what we in the software industry call a quick fix - you bang 'em out just to make users happy and because you can do it with one hand tied behind your back, with little or no commitment of man hours.
