Except some of the race maps but they only worked because if you fell off you respawned on your mongoose at the last check point you crossed. Without that feature of the dedicated race gametype, if you fell off once your race would pretty much be over unless everyone falls off. Then it just becomes a game of who can complete the course first. Assuming everyone doesn't just give up before that.
I have read the bulletin. They've just outlined when they're making the pre-existing specialisations readily available to everyone. And on that point, I thought they already did that in December when they messaged everyone their codes.
The entire point of the codes was that they weren't available to everyone. If you didn't get a code you're stuck at 70 until they release the other specializations to everyone. Despite preordering I didn't get a code since I'm outside the US.
I got the Limited Edition and, with it, all the codes. I also got a message from XBOX LIVE with the code for all the specialisations in December. Had no use for it and gave it to a friend. So that's weird. It was called the specialisation alpha pack, or something along those lines, right? Hopefully a Beta or Charlie pack are scheduled for the future.
Yup, looking back now it seems as if the general pre-order specialization code wasn't available in the UK, but you could get it from certain retailers by pre-ordering the LE specifically.
So they built another one then? If so why? they had the one from WETA I'm sure they could use whenever they want.
No the WETA one belongs to WETA and the guy who built it. They did it to showcase their capabilities to bungie and microsoft when they were supposed to be doing the halo movie. When I went down there on a tour of the place I asked the tour guide about it and he said they got no money from either company for it, wich is why it mostly just sits in their show room. But I imagine it would still be cheaper for 343 to pa then for it's use than build another one.
It would be, But it has to be a Halo 4 model warthog. For publicity and to give people impression Halo 4 is an amazing game("If it wasn't an amazing game why would they make a vehicle from it") which in return makes them a higher profit then production cost of making one.(+bonus of publicity like going to E3 and internet forums and stuff and making halo 4 sound awesomer) But if they do make it road legal and all the indicators work like in halo like speedometer is that charging up bar and the hook at front of it actually works and tires pop proof and glass is bullet proof and turret actually works on the back bullets sold separately, I sooooo want one.
I doubt that. it's a prop company that built it. So it will look as close to the actual in game warthog as possible but also lots of shortcuts to make it not quite as expensive as a real one would be. Just like all the super cars they make for movie stunts and what not.
i'd shut the servers down too if less than 2,000 people played, thats just wasting money at that point
If this has been posted before the apologies. Web interface for fileshare should be coming in late February.
i've gotten to the point where i don't even care about the fileshare anymore. having to search by gamertag is only a minor inconvenience, and since I, and probably most of you, all find maps on forums, its not really a big deal at all to just type it in. i do have a usb keyboard hooked up to my xbox though. and with the screenshot extracting tools, ive still been able to obtain my screenshots. thats about the only thing that will be great... being able to get my screenshots easier. as far as the searching goes, i havent really been bothered. but hey at least forgehub can have maps on it again in february i guess? huzzah!!!
