    I'm very glad you took some feedback into consideration and fixed up the map is it possible for updated screenies? :)

    The only things that I would suggest are some sight-line blockers along the outside road and some more obstacles on the open areas at the bottom of some of the buildings.

    Great map though. :)

    I've been keeping up with this thread. Honestly, I would much rather talk to you about the map over live if that's okay with you. I see a few areas I'd like to look at more in-depth before jumping to conclusions.

    The map is going through a very large overhaul, I'm still not quite finished with it but will be posting many new screens the moment I do finish it.

    Is it possible to just download the map and walk through it? If you want me in the game with you just send me a FR and we'll walk through it together if that'll help but I would suggesting waiting for the update to be finished as it is rather large and what you want to show me may have changed.

    it's just when you enter the tunnel. you can see some blocks sticking out and stairs merged with a silo.

    I was more thinking about something like team fortress 2 symetrical maps.

    Solid presentation, and a good lookin' map from the screenshots. Can't wait to check it out in-game. I'll try and make my way back here later with some thoughts.

    Also the map has gone through a large overhaul and fixed everything that was spoken about for suggestions. The map looks completely different and finished with the update. Just fixing some frame-drop issues and some other minor stuff then it will be updated on here.

    I ran around on this map with a couple people and just was not impressed. Not to sound too negative, but it's just too large, and flat. Nothing about it really gave me the wow factor. I do however like the sniper nest bottom middle structure. But otherwise I don't think the map has very smooth gameplay. I would reccommend removing the VERY tall turret towers as that just screams "SNIPE WHORES WELCOME". Pardon my language.

    First things first, how is anything you say true when the map is not on my fileshare anymore and hasn't been.

    As I can see you revived this map from the basement just to give it crappy feedback. How can you say it plays crappy when you even told on yourself that you only ran on this map with a couple people, lol. That is not testing nor understanding how the map plays. You state that the only thing you like about it is the sniper nest yet you want me to take it out because it screams sniper whores even though there's no sniper on this map, lol. Please do not reply to this map anymore, there's a version two already, wish you would read, and everything you said has already been fixed.

    And to go with your other comment in the other thread, yeah I've been a member since 2009 and only have 200 posts because I've been deployed twice lately to Iraq and been away from my family quite a bit to ever consider spending time on video games, much less this place.

    Edit: This was my first map since 2009 BTW, get off your high horse. One of the last maps I made actually made it into Halo 3 matchmaking, so yeah, I know how to make quality maps, just getting back to using forge though. It's a lot different than actually designing a map with the proper software. Here's the map that made it into Halo 3.

    Miscommunication alert lol

    My earlier comment on the map was not at all out of an emotional standpoint just to clear things up.It was an honest opinion. I just hadn't realized you made the map until the bout.

    This is a fixed version of Baptism correct?
    That is what I explored with my party, I was talking about the sniper nests at bottom middle (OBJECT) sorry for not making that clear. But for infinity drop games there very well could be a sniper on the map. Only it being personal ordinance. I just would be pissed to have someone get a sniping weapon and camp up at turret tower.

    I still believe the map is much too large and flat though. It's next to impossible to make BTB maps in Halo 4 work well.

    I can assure you, I'm not on my high horse, but if anybody appeared to be that way, it would be you sir. Thanks.

    Oh and I remember that map actually. It wasn't bad.

    No, Baptism by Fire is a remake of this map, read the descriptions if you're actually going to give honest feedback. If you "just so happened" to check this map out, I'm sure you would of came across version 2. But what I believed happened was that you clicked on the link I posted for you in the other thread (that linked you here a few mins later, go figure) showing you that my maps are original and you wanted to "get me back" b/c you were upset about my feedback in that thread. So you can make up whatever, but you don't make sense either way and pretty out of the loop, bringing up a old retired map and all.

    As for your feedback...

    Some points you stated I highlighted in orange...

    You contradict yourself. Anyways, how can the very bottom of the map be considered a "sniper nest?" A sniper nest is a tower, hence the "nest" part of the name= meaning high off the ground. ..and how many times does one really drop in a sniper in personal ordinance. You know as well as I do it's rare to get that option, deffinitely not every game. So you don't like the very bottom, but yet you would be pissed if one spawned a sniper and got up in the actual sniper nest/tower.

    Yawn... anyways, this has all been fixed in version 2 "Baptism by Fire." Which I have also retired. These 2 maps were just a stepping stone of me learning forge again, since I suck like you stated in the other thread.

    If you're going to spawn a map I no longer care about, atleast give some decent feedback. If you want to get up to speed, check out my map Phalanx. I consider it my first "successful" map in halo 4. Roger and out.
