Welp, another day, another graphic. I felt ambitious so I made a wallpaper Here it is without text: And here's the original render: Spoiler I'm guessing nobody cares to see the background so I won't put it here Anyways, CnC would be nice. If you like it, please say so, if not, please explain. Even if you're indifferent please say something, I want to hear an honest response as I really like this one, and could really use heavy and truthful critique. Thanks for taking a look. PS You can download the full sizes on the right of the screen of each link: -With text -Without text
Idk, to make it a little more interesting than a plain spartan and jungle background, I guess. Adds a twist to it imo. You don't like it?
I think the focal is his helmet.. I don't think the foliage detracts or distracts from it, since it blends in w/ the background :/ It was mainly for blending. W/o it the spartan didn't blend as well at least imo
I actually really like the use of c4d's on the spartan, it gives that blending an A+ in my book. But the whole thing looks pretty good, c4d's and vectors are used well and not over done While i like the one without text better, i love the font chosen, where'd you get it?
Thanks! I found the font on stumbleupon, on a similar page like this one (I can't find the exact one atm). It's doing well on deviantart (well, it has more than two comments/5 likes, which is good for me) so I'm happy with this wallpaper.
That thing on the shoulder needs to go. It sticks out and is poorly blended. In this case it looks completely random as it has no blending to the background to the immediate side and behind it. It looks bad. Other than that, nice. Gradient maps could be turned down. Text is cool.
I tried removing it, but it turned out really bad since the plant is like the 3rd layer. If you want to see it: yeaahh, this sucks Anyways... I think I could remove it but it would take another hour or so, time I'm not quite committed to. Could you explain more as to how it's poorly blended, twahl? I can see what you mean about the gradients, but I kind of like it, the simple color pallet makes it less cluttered imo :/
