You're right - obviously something's calling the Reach DMR to show up.. . Most likely there are whole programs of code from previous Halos that are not being called on at all or only for glitches like this. Seems like a waste considering we're downloading all this to our console.. I think you're right on the discs, though. It's pretty common, too. For example, in Skyrim, if you hack out of the normally playable area itself, the entirety of the Oblivion geometry can be seen, although with less detail as you get farther out.
Yeah I'm not saying that they have good reason for being there (though perhaps they do, who knows?), just that going through and stripping them all out is probably more work than it's worth, especially considering they were clearly pushed for time with more important aspects.
that's not exactly the reach DMR. The scope has a bigger radius, and the skin in general is slightly different. Makes you wonder exactly what they could have been doing with that.

@DC did the servers go down just before that? I know the Halo 4 populations have gone down a whole lot, but that much?
This is probally just after an update, it always is like this after any update/server update. Many games have this, and i have seen this alot. You just jumped in right afer the small update, and was at the lowest point of players playing halo 4, still regaining the rest who have been out. Just look at the odd numbers.

Are you all sheep who play a game because it's popular rather than because you enjoy it? I live in ****ing New Zealand and never have issues finding games. In fact the only time I look at populations is in Spartan ops to tell which missions give the most XP.
Actually I can call bullshit on that picture. Those must have been the backup servers because there is no infinity challenge playlist that has been in the lists for 2 weeks now. The backup servers being the ones it reverts to when you are having connection issues or something like that.
