Nah, if they finish before the middle of the year, I can watch them in the 2nd half of the year. EDIT: 1300 Replies. Winsauce.
Just finished the second Berserk golden age movie, holy **** it is gonna be awesome if the do the dark age parts and all that dark fantasy in there with all the demons and stuff. As a side note, if they do do that, Puck (a fairy) will probably become the most annoying annoying anime character in existence. Also, I watched .Hack: Beyond The World. Pretty good as long as you like the premise of the others, except in this one it is more like a prequel to everything so you get to know how some characters became relevant later on, and why. If you watched .Hack/sign then you should recognize most of the characters avatars ingame.
I don't know if I've posted this before, but here you go anyway. Every Anime Opening Ever Made - YouTube How many can you name? No reading the description for answers.

**** man, I am terrible at stuff like that, have a hard enough time with montages from the same series. Let alone 37 different ones all together. I dunno, maybe I'm just making excuses, but I'm not even gonna try. Edit: I've been wondering... how many replies do you think we'd need to reach to get this thread stickied? I mean, we have well over the average amount for general discussion threads.
I don't think we can as this is a very specific subject whereas some of the other stickies are quite general topics. I can ask a Tz or Sock sometime.
I'm surprised this thread has actually managed to stay up top without a sticky, haha. Dread recommended Fate/Stay Night, so I started watching it and am pretty damn confused so far.
I could only recognize: FMA Ranma 1/2 Oh! My Goddess Clannad Inuyasha Hikaru No Go D. No NEVER watch an added detail prequel before the original series The prequel is aimed at people who have seen the main series.
Draco is right on this one, you wont appreciate F/SN if you dont watch it first. Also, domt watch them both assuming they will be the same, they arent really. Also, SAO is completed now, and I can say with pretty good confidence that they wont be making any more to do with it unless its maybe a couple ova's. They did a stellar job on it though, it really was great.
but watching it that way you dont get the same kind of emotional investment into the characters because you dont know what will happen to them in the future, and you dont get to see the huge changes in their personalities as a result of things that happen in Fate/Zero. The fact that you know what will happen, and dont know how, or why; that is the best part of watching a prequel. Watching it in chronological order just messes that all up, you completely miss out on the tension that builds up towards the climax as a result, and are really only experiencing half of what you would if you watch prequels after the originals.
So I just watched Highschool of the Dead because I think I remember someone recommending it in the chatbox (probably Sky). I've also watched and liked Naruto, Trigun, Blue Gender, and Love Hina. I have a list of ones I plan to watch that I've heard of either in the chatbox or in this thread: Death Note Highschool DxD Sword Art Online Toaru Kagaku no Railgun Yuri Yuri I don't know which one to watch next. Any recommendations? (Even if they aren't on this list)
Haha, I feel like Sky recommended most of those. Not that the others are bad at all, but I would recommend Sword Art or Death Note from that list. If you're looking for any kind of anime, I would personally recommend Baccano, Katanagatari, or Welcome to the NHK. I think you'd like them based on the other stuff you posted.
I dont remember mentioning Yuru Yuri or DxD but be aware of sexual themes and stuff, especially in DxD, Yuru Yuri is just slice of life with Yuri undertones.
Spice and Wolf was fantastic. There's a sequel too, if you didn't already know. You could try Katanagatari, the two have pretty similar aspects. Old fantasy setting, witty dialogue, some action, romance, etc.
