You probally thought by reading the title that someone came up with an idea to use abilities otherwhise. Even if not, here is an video showing 2 armor ablities that have been discovered. Hacker I like. Teleport... well with my connection I do that enough already. Even so it seems very annoying being able to have someone just go from in front of you to behind you. I hope they do not add that.
Teleport looks like a worthwhile Thruster Pack, in that it actually goes a useful distance (actually looks incredibly powerful, like Evade but without the requirement of being on the ground). I'm assuming this requires mods to access them?
Hacker looks super useful. I can't tell you how many times I run into people using the hard light shield. Teleport looks awesome but would definitely be way too overpowered/annoying. I can see it now; everyone in all of Halo teleporting every match.
Yep I don't know why he suggested that it was part of Halo 4 though, I've seen the teleporter mod a couple of times on forums before, Hacker is new to me though. I'm almost certain the teleporter is a mod however I've never seen hacker in my life so who knows. Also last time I saw teleporter it didn't have the green effects, I'm assuming it's just a newer version of the mod, won't rule out the possibility of unfinished AA's by 343 though. Teleporter seems like too much, I could imagine that becoming REALLY annoying. Maybe if it required a charge time first and teleported you to a random nearby location instead of where you're aiming it would be better. Anyway yeah nice find.
better than lag teleportation... when you are the one with the AA. it would probably be frustrating to fight against that. you're about to kill the guy, POOF, gone O_O
To test these out, you simply just need to download "Harvest Hacker Slayer" and "Harvest Teleporter Slayer" by a guy named Lord Zedd. However, you must play these two gametypes on Harvest for some reason. Pretty cool.
As cluckinho says, you can download "Harvest Hacker Slayer" and "Harvest Teleporter Slayer" both created by Lord Zedd. There is an way to find them yourselves, i don't know how though, and if you really want to try them both you can just download those two. I think teleporter is awesome, but overpowered. You can fly an incredible distance, and i dont want to encounter someone, who uses it right in front of me to get the assasination, like in the very begin of the video. But it can be nice with some tweaking i suppose. Hacker actually looks pretty balanced, and fun. You can crash jetpackers to death, my favorite part. I hope this only works on people though, not on vehicles. My vehicle sprees got enough ruined by the whole team coming towards me with PP and plasma combo.. Edit : It looks like if you use teleporter, you get the same effect as you go out of monitor mode. And the beam he leaves, kind of looks like the fuel rod beam. (A little hard to explain though ) Edited by merge: These were found in Harvest, nowhere else, yet. Its almost like they were an secret, shipped with the Crimson map pack.
I agree actually it closely resembles the fuel rod effect, I saw another one that used the hologram effect when teleporting. Gives me more reason to believe this was not put in the gameand is just a mod. Also I saw a video of somebody teleporting in Ravine. So It isn't Harvest exclusive. Try looking on Se7ensins they might have some more answers.
The guy teleporting on Ravine was Lord Zedd, but that was a mod on his JTAG. And yes, these armour abilities ARE Harvest exclusive. Lord Zedd has even stated this on Se7ensins. I know this, because i'm a member there, and frequent the Halo 4 forums there.
