In Reach there were tons of puzzle maps that were very difficult and fun, especially the 2 player puzzle maps. I've been searching everywhere for halo 4 puzzle maps, and have yet to find one. Is anyone in the process of making them? What's going on?
I know of a few in the works. Puzzles take time, there are still some tricks to find, the game has been out for barely over a month. Be patient, young one.
okay . Thanks for the reply. I'm really looking forward to these puzzles. If anyone knows of any completed ones please tell me
I'm not going to start constructing Cubeskew 3 until they at least add precision movement. I've messed around with constructing portions of it, and it's just too frustrating right now. Almost all the objects in my map are set at angles and it is nearly impossible to get them aligned with one another without precision movement. I thought it might not matter too much with the magnets, but the placement of the magnets varies with different objects, so they don't all stick together as you might hope they would.
The game just came out. People are too busy caring about ranks right now, and possibly some are in the making.
I've got one in the works, about 2/3 done. Hopefully expect it in a month or so. Spring Break/ other projects will keep me from getting back on it right away.
I only completed one in Reach, and they take time. Since Forge Island came out, I've started one. Since the map allows a bit more than the other 3, like killzone-free water and such, expect to see more puzzles since its release.
There are barely any for the same reason as why there aren't many minigames in Halo 4: 343i put a lot of restraints to the gametypes as opposed to how we used to know them, or even removed them entirely. This is also the reason why some people I know that used to love to forge, such as Darth Human and xhunter33, haven't been bringing out nearly as many maps as they did in Reach. Forge Island has given me hope though that people will come back to forge and realize that there's still so much you can do as long as you're just motivated to make something out of it.
