That movie will be incredible awesome, or incredibile stupid.

 

She got tired of Aperture Science and decided her efforts would be better appreciated fighting giant monsters.

Edit: Considering it looks like they took all the parts of Transformers, Godzilla, and Power Rangers and just smash cut them together...imma going with stupid.

 

It actually does resemble Evangelion some. Those apocolyptic type movies don't usually end up being good though, hahaha.

I'm curious if it will link Portal 2 with HL2/3.. Cause there is no way that that is not Glados.

 

I doubt it has any connection to any game other than the glados voice. Harry101UK from youtube has a few videos and commentaries explaining how to do a pretty convincing glados impression with simply talking in a higher register of voice and using auto-tune software.

 

if you look at the wiki, its the same voice actor as "Robot AI"

 

According to that same wiki,

Her role in the movie is "Jaegar A.I.". Most likely the voice is just fan service. My bet is the producer is probably a portal fan.

 

Gonna watch a movie tonight. Trying to decide between Blow and Barton Fink. I've seen both before, and they're both awesome. Anyone wana save me the trouble of deciding?

I'm really feeling for one of the above tonight. I don't rewatch films nearly as much as I watch new ones, but I'm glad I do both.

I had Netflix. Tried a month free and didn't renew it. Still trying to decide if I miss it or not. I think I do...

Netflix in England sucks ass compared to in the US. I've had it in both countries, the selection there is terrible, here it's much better.

Spotflux lets you get the US selection from the UK. I agree that the UK selection sucks, if it wasn't for Spotflux then I wouldn't even consider getting Netflix back.

 

The Hobbit sucked.

ignoring the drastic changes from the book, i still felt uninvolved and unimpressed by the characters. the moments that were supposed to be epic had me laughing instead. i know we're all expected to automatically love it, but i just didn't. sure, it was entertaining and the vfx were gorgeous, but that's really all i have to say about it. hopefully the next one is better.
