So far I've got: Free DLC, Free recruit armor(Meant be pre-order bonus), Free specialization bonus's.(Limited edition bonus). Pretty good for only getting standard copy.
was that really necessary? Anyway, I'm sad that although the train in harvest has collision geometry, that you can't go up there
I understand, but sometimes it really irritates me. Those stupid sarcastic comments about the game are really unnecessary, and not funny at all.
Gee thanks for the lesson professor. Won't ever be sarcastic/humourous around you ever, lest I want a time out.
Yes, clearly knowing how to pronounce "beta" means our TSB here could be one of two things: someone over the age of 10, or a Professor of Greek Language and Literature. I'm hoping it's the latter in case his beard modelling doesn't work out.
I am indeed Professor Broken, of DeVry Institute, majoring in Greek Language and Literature. You see, the word 'beta' comes from the second character in the Greek alphabet, often used as test terminology by software companies. First used by IBM in the 1950's, it refers to the second stage of testing, the first being Alpha.
Thats more like it And sorry Peter but Halo 4's launch has been such a train wreck I can't help but find it funny. At this point its fairly obvious this isn't 343's fault, but more Microsoft for having demanding deadlines and more than likely giving 343 "friendly" hints to make their game more like CoD so it'll sell better. And by friendly I mean "we'll cut off your funding if you don't do what we suggest". This isn't how you handle the franchise that made your console what it is today Microsoft.
Also the crane that endlessly picks up one giant glue stick, moves it to the platform next to the track, then waits a bit before picking it up again and putting it right back where it got it just to repeat the whole process again.
His name is Frances, and he's an interior designer and a perfectionist. He'll figure out which spot the flower vase should go eventually.
I know, right they could at least make the surrounding cans the same color, but no, that one is brightly lit, while it's neighbors are in the dark. They could have at least been consistent with them. Or better yet, have them spawn and despawn the cans It's the little things that get me...
From a gameplay/players perspective. Yes it did. But from 343i and microsoft perspective Beta might not of been a good idea. Because beta's take (some) time, effort and money to polish the uncompleted game into the a bare minimum playable standard. (They where in rush to release game). People are already losing interest in Halo 4 so if they had of made a beta people may have lost interest during beta (or even more recently after the game came out) and lost them sales of the game and DLC sales. 343i and/or Microsoft would of known that people losing interest was potentially a issue(there not idiots). So they chose not to take that risk and not make a beta. (and it worked out for them they got tons of sales) You may think I was been really cynical last paragraph like "Microsoft r money hungry bastrds" I'm not, I think there completely justified in there actions. But Beta's are a financial risk and Halo 4 is a subpar AAA game so the Beta could of very easily lost them sales. (Beta=/= demo but principles still apply) Extra Credits: Demo Daze - YouTube And since there goal isn't to make the be all and end all amazing mind blowing perfect Halo game, It's make a halo game every year that will sell(so it has to be atleast decent to sell, preferably without a beta because that might off put people buying the game) Microsoft most likely doesn't weigh having a perfect game balance in Halo 4(Keeping in mind microsoft are already planning halo 5 and 6 releases) very high vs Money.
Extra Credits is pretty spiffy. +1. I don't think the demo principles apply though. Demos are examples of a polished products, whereas betas come with the knowledge that there is more work to be done.
